4th Sept: Although the high temperatures of last week made for great relaxing sunbathing weather it did slow the fishing down a bit but Dave & Pete still enjoyed their week, they said “ It was fantastic to return after 2 years. As always Heather & Larry were superb hosts”

21st Aug Andy, Brian, Mick & Matt on their annual fishing holiday & wow did the fishing keep them busy with a record week of 62 Carp caught which included 9 x 40’s. The total weight was 1,088LBs. All were caught using HNV Carp Baits Krillz & Envy boilies, some also on maize.

Delighted our first anglers of our 2021 season Roy & Paul had 37 Carp up to 45lb 12oz. Their fishing tactics were in their words “Keep it simple but keep bait going in. Hungry water which responds to a fresh cast + bait”.

31st Aug. Phil & James Anderson had 31 Carp with a 51lb 8oz PB for Phil. "Another brilliant trip to Genets. The lake is a beautiful place to spend a week. Not our first trip to Genets & it won’t be our last. The fishing was good despite some surprisingly cold evenings"

24th Aug: Andy, Brian, Mick & Matthew on their annual fishing trip to Genets had 32 Carp to 44lb 4oz.
"Another great year at Genets! The weather was very hot which didn’t help the fishing but it did help the beer numbers! Looking forward to catching the big one next year!"

10th to 17th Aug: With the lake to himself Toby planned to move around & worked hard to cover as much water as possible, it definitely paid off for him with 21 Carp caught.
