Groundhog Day. Liam ends up at the back of the pack again for Canadian GP start and his colleague survived a crash in Miami due to a large wandering rodent. https://t.co/DHTIBBfouS
Keeping the "big cats" theme going this week. New Zealand synthetic biology startup Bontia Bio is creating sustainable, non-toxic, nature-based treatments for our furry friends. https://t.co/kCCau2ocdo
@kr1t1c4l@NZ_Trav Indeed. Although the current airfield is not particularly short at a leisurely 700m. Most of the damaged props I've seen were from taxing at high power settings on a gravelly surface.

On the road to recovery now after a rather too close shave with lymphoma in 2025. Raglan this weekend has been an amazingly restful location with rejuvenating sea air, amazing views and some overdue quiet time for writing and reflection about what's next.
Lest we forget. This weekend we remember a failed military campaign. But nothing has really changed in the century since then. Unhinged political leaders continue to wreak havoc on human lives and the global economy in a struggle for power and resources.
Gallipoli was a hastily launched military campaign over a maritime choke point โ and has parallels with the Strait of Hormuz. @MeighenMcCrae@OurANU https://t.co/4i4CxhkmNx
Swapped out Gemini for a basic version of Groq Llama to test my @GeniusReFi Explore app prototype. Super fast and much easier to administer than clunky Google dashboard. Outputs are very similar however. More research needed. Better fun than doing EOY accounts, for sure. ๐
OK this is cool. The first time humans have seen the whole Mare Orientale on the far side of the Moon with their own eyes. Usually hidden from our view on Earth, even Apollo astronauts didn't see it completely because of their orbit and illumination conditions (Apollo 17 caught a partial glimpse lit by 'Earthshine'). @traskjd Gemini's "personalised" conversation mode has come a long way but I quite easily managed to get it to hallucinate. One assumes that the Google suite will steadily become better integrated. Fast followers sometimes win the race.
@MHReddell Would love to know where "4% inflation" derived from these days. Used to be "basket of goods". But many everyday grocery items up 15-25% over last 2 yrs. For ordinary consumers and those on low incomes, inflation is vastly more than 4%.
@kr1t1c4l@LewisHoldenNZ@FleurFitzsimons Data portability is a good thing. Anyway, it's standard that clinicians ask your Name and DOB before administering treatments. Pays to quote your NHI as a cross check as well. Always question anything at all that seems unusual.
@Suitandtie9999@Celery57559414 I doubt Q would feel "attacked" by this. Political satire is healthy in an open society. She will have to deal with a lot worse once she becomes an MP in November I'm sure. ๐
Updated this article to reflect the collaboration between Massey and Uni of Nottingham spin-offs. We've got some cool partnerships @GeniusReFi in the pipeline too! Watch this space. ๐
We've pledged to fund 100 new trees in this planting initiative. The project nicely aligns with our goal of creating regenerative outcomes from academic work. Please join us! https://t.co/SarGwpJ2rg
