It is quite easy to tell that Ratha is working with the state in this case. It is quite bizzarre that a presiding judge would not use his authority to compel the witnesses to avail themselves to court and simply leaves it to the defense team. Contempt?

@Andile_Rotile No it does matter if the state's claim is that he had it in his posession and that he was making calls while incarcerated. They had his phone when they arrested him, so it is not rocket science that they would have downloaded it. Why does it not matter now that it is disproven?

I love this work. The case was from the start with people who defeats the ends of justice. Sibiya and Shibiri were there from day one. Gns Senona, Sibiya and Shibiri are all in the Madlanga commission for unrelated defeating ends of justice. Crazy ain't it?

If a witness is legally compellable and properly subpoenaed, their personal preference about which side called them is irrelevant.

Their duty is to appear, testify truthfully, and assist the court. The obligation is to justice, not to either side in the trial. #SenzoMeyiwaTrial
