Yesterday London's high rolled off its max between our scans - the band went 61c to 94c before we ever saw it. So last night we built a watcher that polls the station tape every 5 minutes.

Today it went live at 2:10pm ET on Philadelphia. Twelve minutes later it fired: tape rolled 85F to 82.4F, forecast ceiling 82F the rest of the day. Max banked. The market was still pricing 19 cents of spike fear, so we bought the 85-86 band at 81c.

NYC and Philadelphia ran the same setup this afternoon: high printed, bracket at a discount, peak fading.

We bought NYC at 89c and refused Philly at 78c. Difference: NYC's remaining forecast tops at 83 - inside the bracket. Philly's says 86 at 5pm - through the flip.
