The Secretary of DHS is a civilian Cabinet member. Civilians shouldn't salute.They should nod or place a hand over their heart.

@BillCassidy I voted for you but It wasn't easy. Maga and Trump were never going to forgive you but there are plenty of Republicans and moderates that deserved representation. Every Trump commercial you ran lost votes that could have been yours.

@atrupar We were not born yesterday. We all fully understand that that gas prices always go up quickly and come down very slowly. The full effects of the closure of the Strait haven't even hit yet so this will get much worse before it even starts to improve.

The Arlington quote comes from Trump's chief of staff John Kelly, and several witnesses. Dismissing that as a hack job skips the actual point which is all about character... and power.

@darkblue714 @rgoodlaw Several shot appear to have been fired after the man was motionless so... this excuse won't work. I did see a photo of a gun sitting on the seat of a car. It wasn't on the ground circled by chalk or anything like you would normally see in an investigation. Guns are legal there.
