Covenant Theologians argue that the reestablishment of Israel in 1948 could not have been an act of God because the Jewish people predominantly do not believe in Christ. They conclude that God would not restore Israel apart from faith in Him.

They are correct that every promise of God finds its ultimate fulfillment in Messiah.

Where they err, however, is in assuming that God cannot fulfill prophetic promises that prepare the way for Israel's future national salvation.

There is ample Scriptural evidence that God will first regather Israel to her land and subsequently bring the nation to repentance and cause her to be born again.

Zechariah 12:
v9: And in that day I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
👆️ This presumes the Jews are back in the land, and the nations war against her. Then, 👇️
v10: I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.

Ezekiel 36:
v24: For I will take you from the nations, gather you out of all the countries and bring you back to your own land.

I hope today I finished painting everything I need/want to. Was planning on completing the engine at least as far as putting everything back in it. Water pump cover has a pretty big flaw so had to order another. So is the life of motorcycle restoration.

Today

Painted the rest of the frame
Put on the rear exhaust
Took apart the starter and painted covers
Water pump installed but cover has small chip in seal area must wait for new one.

We are getting so close to putting everything back together

Oh yeah and I bought a second one

Veryy nice paint and fairing but found an issue 😎 will need some engine work but not the worst case scenario as this screw doesn’t seem to have done terrible damage. I think whoever had it tried to hit the starter and that is all. The only real issue is the body of this machine screw is stuck on the valve area somewhere. More fun to be had

My next project a 1984 Honda V65 Sabre. I owned a 84/85 V35 500 cc Magna brand new. I owned a 2004 V45 Magna in 2012-2018. But now I get to restore this bad boy.

I have all the parts not shown here but very much look forward to taking my time and enjoying the process.

Painted the center stand and touched up a few other things.

Put the back exhaust into Evaporust for prepping to paint it.

Waiting on a seal for the water pump, which by the way, is the kind that you can’t find anywhere and the one or two that are on eBay cost a arm and a leg.. yeah that kind.

At this point it is all or nothing, do it right or don’t do it at all
