NEVER make a major life decision while you’re under intense pressure‼️‼️‼️‼️
Read that again.
Some of the greatest mistakes I’ve watched people make weren’t because they lacked wisdom… they were because they made permanent decisions in temporary seasons of pressure.
The enemy understands something many believers overlook.
If he can’t stop your destiny… he’ll try to pressure you into abandoning it.
I’ve watched people leave churches… quit businesses… walk away from relationships… abandon God given assignments… and later realize they weren’t responding to the voice of God. They were responding to the weight of the battle.
Can frustration reveal that it’s time for a transition? Absolutely.
But frustration can also be a weapon of spiritual warfare designed to push you out of the will of God before you ever step into the breakthrough God has prepared for you.
Before you make a major change… remember these three warnings.
1. Don’t build a permanent decision around a temporary problem.
One difficult conversation… one disappointing season… one financial setback… or one offense does not automatically mean God has changed your assignment. Don’t confuse resistance with redirection.
2. Get on the other side of the pressure.
Pressure clouds perspective. Give yourself time to pray… worship… seek wise counsel… and allow your emotions to settle. “As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14.
3. Let Scripture and the Holy Spirit have the final word.
Not every open door is from God… and not every difficult season is a sign to leave. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5–6.
The enemy wants to wear you out until you move prematurely.
God wants to strengthen you until you move precisely.
Don’t allow pressure to make a decision that peace would have never made.
If this encouraged you… share it with someone who’s in the middle of a difficult season. It may keep them from making a decision they’ll regret… and if you’re standing in the middle of intense warfare right now… let me know in the comments. I’m praying for you.
