I’m really excited to hear what he’s doing because everything he does, has to be super on top of the trends. And everybody else is really going to follow a lot of the ways that he is pioneering.

Early 2000s, Justin Timberlake vibe. The fact that he could pull it off with this genre was amazing. As a producer, you just love to work with someone like him. He is singing so good that like when you have instruments, your tracks don’t have to be crazy. He is going to carry it with his voice. All of his tracks are a relatively easier, chill listen than crazy beats because his toplining, his singing will shine anyways. Man, the vocals are just sitting so well on all the tracks, like the vocal mix on all the songs are really making his vocals shine. And it should because he has such a good vocal.

I think he is in a place in his career and in his artistry, where it’s less of proving (himself) because of so much popularity. He is so confident in himself and he should be. It’s more like, ‘I’m just gonna express myself’. It seems genuine and I love that. You know, it’s one of those albums that I feel like I can just roll down my window and listen to it when I’m driving at night. (GOLDEN) is a place of identity. That’s how I feel.”
