Shatta Wale fans are exposing the difference between emotional reasoning and logical reasoning over this Webkid issue.

You people are all over X shouting “free Webkid” without asking yourselves one simple question: where were you when the same guy was constantly insulting, defaming and attacking Stonebwoy, his wife and innocent children online?
Some of you think social media is a lawless jungle where people can wake up, insult families, spread defamatory content and hide behind “trolling.” No. There’s a huge difference between harmless trolling and targeted defamation.

And for those misleading people, learn to read legal documents properly. The case clearly says “The Republic vs Abdul Gafaru Sani” not “Stonebwoy vs Webkid.” In criminal cases, “The Republic” means the State is prosecuting the matter under Ghanaian law. Stonebwoy is simply the alleged victim mentioned in the complaint, not the person arresting or prosecuting anyone. So stop twisting the narrative like Stonebwoy personally jailed the guy.

Then again, when your own leader publicly says “school is a scam,” how do you expect some of the fans to even understand how legal documents work? Instead of educating the fanbase on the difference between a state prosecution and a personal arrest, even their so-called legal reps are online acting emotionally just to satisfy fans instead of giving them the simple legal truth: this is the Republic handling a criminal matter, not Stonebwoy personally arresting somebody.

If you insult people repeatedly, drag their family into nonsense, damage reputations and cross legal boundaries, there can be consequences. The law does not care about fanbase emotions.
Instead of using sense and finding mature ways to support the boy legally, some of you are online making noise, threatening people and acting like accountability is oppression.

That is pure emotional thinking, not logical thinking.
Even your leader should understand this better. If someone continuously attacks your family online, are you supposed to clap for them because it’s “social media banter”? Be serious.
Funny thing is, many of the same people screaming today would have celebrated if the situation was reversed. Hypocrisy everywhere.

This whole situation should teach people that social media is not real life. You can’t insult people endlessly, defame families, weaponize fanbase culture and then suddenly play victim when the law gets involved.
Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences.
