It was a pleasure to once again meet with my Belgian colleague @hadjalahbib. Grateful to her for a warm welcome at the EU General Affairs Council to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 🇪🇺 2004 enlargement.
The fact that the EU candidate countries join the event along with the 27 member states is a vivid demonstration that we already represent the part of the big European family.

[Ilia Darchiashvili @iliadarch]

On sidelines of the EU General Affairs Council meeting, I had a very good exchange of views with my Latvian counterpart @Braze_Baiba regarding strengthening diplomatic ties and exploring avenues for cooperation between our countries.

[Ilia Darchiashvili @iliadarch]

Had a very good meeting with @VeraJourova, where we discussed Georgia's progress on the EU accession path, achieved through our government's efforts, including the implementation of a number of essential reforms. We agreed to continue close cooperation.

Delighted to meet with the Federal President of the 🇩🇪 H.E. Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin, a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage and diplomatic significance. We highlighted the strong bilateral ties and Germany's active role in Georgia, affirming the robust partnership between our nations. During our meeting, we emphasized the importance of supporting Georgia's institutional and socio-economic transformation and reforms. These efforts are essential for promoting 🇬🇪's continued advancement in the 🇪🇺integration process.

Delighted to meet with @Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz during my visit to 🇩🇪. Discussed the scope of 🇬🇪-🇩🇪 multifaceted cooperation and ways to further strengthen our partnership. Expressed gratitude for Germany’s continuous support for Georgia’s development processes, as well as our EU accession path. Georgia, as a future EU member state, remains a reliable ally for both Germany and Europe in the region.

[Ilia Darchiashvili @iliadarch]

For its centuries-old history, Georgia has always been paying an immense price for gaining freedom. Today, we pay tribute to those of our outstanding compatriots who fought against the Soviet army on 9 April 1989 and brought well-deserved independence to our wonderful country. Glory to our heroes! 🇬🇪

[Ilia Darchiashvili @iliadarch]

I'm grateful to my colleague from Panama - @JanainaGob for the warm welcome. 🇬🇪 attaches particular importance to strengthening cooperation with the Republic of Panama and considers Panama an important partner in Central America. This is the first Ministerial-level visit from 🇬🇪 to 🇵🇦 and carries special importance in the context of enhancing relations between the two countries.

[Ilia Darchiashvili @iliadarch]

I'm excited to be visiting the wonderful country of Brazil, marking the first high-level visit between our countries in a decade!
Along with my colleague Mauro Vieira, I once again highlighted that 🇬🇪 considers 🇧🇷 as a significant partner and friend in the region and welcomed the positive dynamics in our relations.

We agreed that despite being miles away, our countries have a significant potential to enhance trade and economic relations. @Itamaraty_en
