🩺I became a nurse because of Christopher’s diabetes. My sons Christopher & Declin are planning to work to serve in the community. Christopher is in Paramedic School & Declin plans to attend EMT School. Whatever happens to us, it’s what we do w/the challenges that matter. (5/5)

When I came to this country, my mom worked two jobs and we delivered newspapers together when I was 9-years-old. Our lives changed when she got her union job. I know how hard our community works & when elected, I hope to serve them.

I became a Nurse Practitioner when the pandemic hit, and it was like being thrown into the fire. My Union’s protections at the time is how I survived. As one of the most challenging times of my life, the experience reinforced my commitment to giving everything to care for others.
