From January 22-27, 2024, #GPPAC International Steering Group gathered in Tokyo for the first in-person meeting in almost five years! ICCN presented GPPAC's South Caucasus Network achievements. We embraced all our activities for conflict prevention.
On December 19, #GPPAC S. Caucasus Network held a concluding meeting to summarize annual activities and the achieved results. The Network discussed its role in addressing regional conflicts and considered plans for contributing to peace in 2024.
On October 9, within the #GPPAC S. Caucasus program, ICCN conducted a webinar for Azerbaijani and Armenian peace workers about building and maintaining sustainable peace networks. The webinar dealt with the operation of peace networks in crisis times and overcoming obstacles.
On June 27, within #GPPAC S. Caucasus program, ICCN conducted a webinar on conflict analysis and conflict prevention tailored for the residents of the villages along the demarcation line in Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone.
On June 22, within #GPPAC's S.Caucasus program, ICCN conducted a seminar on conflict analysis framework at Tbilisi State University, based on the materials kindly provided by GPPAC. Participants discussed conflicts in the Georgian context.

On April 30, within the #GPPAC Caucasus program, ICCN conducted a seminar for 15 students at the secondary school "Millennium" in Rustavi. Topics: Steps of conflict escalation according to Friedrich Glazl, elements of conflict, methods of de-escalation, and practical exercises
On April 26, within the GPPAC Caucasus program, ICCN conducted a training seminar on conflict prevention and management for 25 students in the #133 public school. The participants were familiarized with types of conflicts, conflict dynamics, etc.

On Dec 12, the S. Caucasus regional network of #GPPAC held a concluding meeting, which discussed the lessons learned and the plans for 2023. It was noted the network should more proactively respond to conflict-prone situations through joint efforts.
October 27, #GPPAC S. Caucasus network unanimously reelected ICCN as a regional secretariat for the next 3-year term. The network has approved membership applications of CSOs - Free Citizens(Georgia) and Women's Dialogue(Armenia)
On October 7, within the #GPPAC S.Caucasus program, ICCN conducted a webinar for the Armenian youth peace practitioners on methods of peace advocacy. Participants presented the youth's viewpoints on peace activities and advocacy tools.
Within the #GPPAC S. Caucasus program, ICCN has published yet another policy paper "The Power of Disinformation as a Basis of Division; The Possession of Information as a Ruling Technology: Policy Paper."

On October 5, ICCN conducted a webinar for the Azerbaijani CSOs about methods of peace advocacy within the #GPPAC S.Caucasus program. The webinar discussed the use of the best international practices of peace advocacy in regional/national contexts.
On July 11, within the #GPPAC S. Caucasus program, ICCN conducted a concluding meeting of the members of the South Caucasian Women Mediators' Network from Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. Members from the secessionist regions participated as well.
