@bozoid@PSUdotcom@PSVRUnderground It seems ever since 2018 Kaz Hirai left and Kenichiro Yoshida took over it started going downhill, David Jaffe mentioned they fired a lot of important smart people especially on PlayStation, now we feeling the effects.
@bozoid@PSUdotcom@PSVRUnderground π I mean it had potential, and I really hoped for the best because the PSVR 1 they did a lot with less technology, but the current leadership isn't so keen on risk and innovation it seems. Its sad, I don't regret being optimistic from the start but glad I waited before buying.
@PetrifyingPump Yep, 100%, I already feel like they gave up but this will be the nail in the coffin, if after this anyone still has hope I really commend them for their loyalty but I can't, I will just keep in the Quest side of the force. It seems Sony lost the creative/innovation drive they had
@thereddragon Gameplay is king, I'm an big sucker for eye candy but tbh to make those photorealistic graphics its costing too much and taking too long, old games even with bad graphics are a lot of fun.
For me graphics peaked in PS2 era and its been diminishing returns ever since.
@nathie At this point I really doubt it, they just want to pretend it doesn't exist, I understand its embarassment for Zuck for having announced it, but I think it was Rockstar that cancelled after the definitive edition fiasco, unfortunately, I love gta.
@Darkborn162 Everybody always complaining of Microsoft trying to make people create an Microsoft account to use Windows, due to this pressure you're still able to just have an local account on Windows today even though Microsoft is making the process harder every update.
@thereddragon Boy, somebody at Sucker Punch Communcations gonna receive an higher up call from Hermen Hulst about inflaming internet discourse among his studios.
@imPatrickT I do like a lot your version, makes it look more cinematic, it gives that action movie look.
The one on the bottom looks more grounded in reality somehow, it kind takes a bit of the magic away.
