The Word of God was initially memorized by the Companions and written down shortly afterward, rather than centuries later. Furthermore, the New Testament did not simply derive from the Old Testament with entirely new material added to it. Regarding your point about why Muslims do not eat pork or why God forbade it, I am not going to debate the Quran. Muslims reaffirm the prohibition already found in the Torah, which is part of the Old Testament, and continue to uphold it. Good night.
