@SenWarren No it wouldn't. 35% would get eaten up in bureaucratic costs, 50% of the remaining to fraud, and you and Bernie would be sitting around trying to figure out what happened to it. Clueless to the rampant corruption around U.
Nothing gets solved by giving the government more money.
@RoKhanna That $3,000 check will cost $10,000 in bureaucratic overhead, 70% will be stolen via fraud.
The biggest wrench in all of your (Sanders, Warren, et al) grandiose plans is the absolute corruption and incompetence of our "free" programs.
Fix that first and get back to me.
@baltimoresun One of the last things you do when you leave the service is review your awards that are placed on your DD-214. If they don't align, you get it fixed on the spot, or produce the orders to get it fixed.
It wasn't an honest mistake, it was stolen valor.
Heading out to VA tomorrow to visit the in-laws. Thinking of picking up some paint to avoid @iamwesmoore 's $1.50 a gallon paint tax.
Not up there with throwing tea in the harbor, but protest takes many forms.
@sarahhepola Change a flat or "fix" a flat?
Changing, easy.
Fixing, depends on where it's holed, if the beads been broken, etc. But if it just needs a plug, yeah, that too.
@TheEXECUTlONER_ 1. Yes, she should have checked it in on line.
2. The truck was returned on-time. I am sure they have video of the lot. Trying to squeeze more money out of a technicality is bad PR.
@TheChiefActual I used to use a store brand. Wound up with dirty dishes and orange scum on the inside, clogged filer.
Switched to a better brand, problem solved. I haven't had to clean it since.
@MandyLSimard I live in the in suburbs of MD. There is a pack in the local area that I can here yipping sometimes. At least once a day they'll run through my yard.
