A politician will say anything to get under the skirt of voters but will do otherwise after getting a pass. All is fair in politics.
One said "I will only spend four years".
The other is saying " I will bring back PMS subsidy".
The reality however remains the path to victory for both of them is nonexistent-No matter what they say, they can't win.
So allow them to promise heaven on earth. It is allowed. They will not see a figment of any underwear.

Lionel Messi’s letter for his father. ❤️🩹
Dad, I still can’t believe that you’ve gone. I don’t fall, or rather, I don’t want to fall. It’s very hard for me to imagine that I’m not going to see you anymore, that we’re not going to talk anymore. I know you were suffering and that it’s for the best, but you left too soon. We still had a lot left to enjoy together.
You asked me so much to play in the last World Cup, and it was in the days just before it started that you got the worst. It was the first time you weren’t going to be at a tournament, but Mom told me that you were going to get better and that you’d be well enough to travel. I told you we were going to reach the final so you could travel.
Every time a match ended I waited for and missed your message. That’s when I realized the situation was really bad. Even so, I didn’t stop thinking about going as far as possible, to buy you time and so you could see a match. We reached the final and you couldn’t be there.
I wanted to win it to bring it to you and show you a new one. I couldn’t; my legs wouldn’t give any more. This time I tried to go against my body, but I couldn’t. I never managed to feel good.
When I arrived you thought we had lost the final on penalties. We couldn’t talk about any of everything that happened. You couldn’t enjoy anything.
We weren’t champions, but you have no idea how much we enjoyed every single match. Once again, you were right: I had to be there and play it.
I’m telling you this because it was the only thing we couldn’t talk about, since you already know everything else. We talked every day and saw each other whenever we could, given my commitments.
I don’t know what I’m going to do without you, I don’t know how to go on. I only played football and now I have quite a few doubts about whether I’ll keep doing it for much longer.
You were by my side from the beginning; there was so little left until the end. Why couldn’t you hold on that little bit more so we could finish together?
I know your happiness was seeing your family well, your wife, your children, and above all, without the others finding out, watching me play…
It was always like that since I was little. You would take me to all the training sessions as soon as you got home from work. For many of them Mum took me because you were working.
Obviously you never missed a single match. How you suffered watching me and how you enjoyed it, even though you never gave me many compliments.
You were dad, friend and representative.
You were always the person you needed to be in every moment and you never got anything wrong. Beyond a few reproaches or arguments, you were always right. In the end it always turned out the way you said.
I’m going to miss you a lot, but you’ll always be present, and especially in the upbringing of my children, because I teach them and raise them the way you both did with me.
Rest in peace and look after us from above the way you did down here. Thank you for everything.
I love you, Dad. ❤️
Dear Nigerians,
For many years, Nigeria has possessed some of the most promising deep offshore oil and gas resources in the world, yet several major developments have remained stalled. Oil lies beneath our waters. We have the engineers, businesses and young people capable of doing increasingly sophisticated work in the sector. What has often been missing is the certainty required for investors to commit billions of dollars, over many years, at the scale needed to turn that potential into production, jobs and opportunity for Nigerians.
We cannot afford to leave that opportunity beneath our waters for another decade.
I have therefore signed the Deep Offshore Oil and Gas Projects Incentives (Tax Remission) Order, 2026, to provide clear and predictable terms for a new generation of deep offshore investment in Nigeria.
The framework has the potential to unlock up to $50 billion in investment, beginning with the approximately $10 billion Bonga South West project. For existing deep offshore leases, there is a clear window to reach Final Investment Decision by 31 December 2029 and receive the full standard incentive available under the Order.
There is urgency to this work. Capital moves, and countries compete for it every day. The countries that attract long-term investment are not necessarily those with the greatest natural resources. They are the ones that provide the greatest certainty.
Nigeria must be one of those countries.
This Order marks the tenth major policy directive of my administration targeted specifically at the oil and gas sector. Each has dealt with a constraint holding back investment, production or value creation. Taken together, they represent a deliberate effort to make our oil and gas industry more competitive, attract capital back to Nigeria and ensure that more of the value created from our resources remains here at home.
But attracting investment is only half of my purpose.
I want the work that comes with these projects to come home to Nigeria. I want our engineers involved, our fabrication yards working, our marine and technical service companies securing contracts, and our young people acquiring skills that will remain valuable long after the first barrel is produced.
The Order reflects this priority. For projects accessing its supplementary incentives, activities are to be performed in Nigeria, subject to clearly defined exceptions and Nigerian Content requirements.
My ambition is that we use this new investment cycle to build Nigeria into Africa’s regional hub for deep offshore project execution. We should not only possess the resources. We should increasingly possess the skills, businesses and industrial capacity required to develop them.
When I engaged the Chief Executive Officer of Shell plc, Mr Wael Sawan, I directed my team to look beyond a solution for one company or one project. We needed a framework that could unlock a wider pipeline of investment while protecting Nigeria’s long-term interests.
That framework is now in place.
Ultimately, I will judge its success by what Nigerians see from it in terms of good jobs, stronger Nigerian businesses, greater production, increased revenues for the Federation and new capabilities built here at home.
Our natural resources must work harder for our people.
That is the purpose of this decision, and we will pursue it with urgency.
Nigeria First.

In an age where the human heart is continuously pulled towards the fleeting attractions of the world, the teachings of the Promised Messiah (as) serve as a divine compass, redirecting the soul toward its true Creator.
To be inclined to Allah is the very purpose of human existence. Through his revelations, writings and practical example, the Promised Messiah (as) illuminated the path that transforms a believer from a ritualistic worshipper into a true lover of God.
How does a believer nurture this inclination?
The Promised Messiah (as) outlined three distinct stages of a believer’s journey towards God, providing a profound commentary on the Quranic verse: “Verily, Allah enjoins justice, and the doing of good to others; and giving like kindred.
The first stage is ‘adl (fairness/justice), which means to obey God Almighty with fairness and justice because He has created you, has nurtured you and continues to do so at all times. It is His right that you too should obey Him. And if you have greater insight, then do not merely obey Him owing to His right to be obeyed.
The second stage is ihsan (doing good to others). God is the Benefactor Whose favours are unlimited. Constant reflection and pondering over the concept of ihsan keeps the countenance and qualities of the Benefactor ever in view. The definition of ihsan includes to worship God as if God is watching.
The final stage is ita’i dhil-qurba (giving like kindred). Its particulars are that when a person appreciates Divine favours and worships God, understanding Him to be present and as the direct Benefactor, this concept and perception ultimately result in personal love of God being instilled in him.
Now he not only sees God at the time of worship but also derives pleasure like one who truly adores. All selfish desires are exterminated and are taken over by personal love of God. The Promised Messiah (as) emphasised that it is at this third stage that the believer’s inclination to Allah becomes unbreakable...
Not a single day has passed without missing your presence, your guidance, your prayers and the values you instilled in us. While the world remembers you as a statesman and leader, we remember you as a loving father whose humility, discipline and faith shaped our lives. May Allah (SWT) continue to have mercy on your soul, Baba. Ameen.
Kalu Ajah, Morris and their Principal, Mr Peter Obi, said we should have modelled things the Argentine way.
Since I believe they wish Nigeria well, the only other acceptable belief is that they are clueless.

This right here is the reality of Japa to many of these countries. And this is why the saying “bye bye Nigeria, the evil you have done is enough” & completely ruling out going back to Nigeria one day will never make sense to me. At the end of the day, home is where you were born.
📜 Revisiting the century-old debate
Prophets of God do not live forever. Like all human beings, they are born, they live, and they die. Yet the mission entrusted to them, to convey God’s message and fill the earth with divine grace and blessings, extends far beyond the span of their earthly lives.
The most Benevolent God elongates the lives and missions of His messengers through the institution of Khilafat, so that the world may never be deprived of the blessings of messengership in any age.
The Holy Prophet (sa) said:
“There has never been a prophethood which was not succeeded by Khilafat.”
The Promised Messiah (as) was a prophet of God. This was his claim and this was the title bestowed upon him by the Almighty God in various revelations. Therefore, following the continuous practice of God, what should naturally come after his prophethood is the institution of Khilafat.
The Ahmadiyya Anjuman Ishaat-e-Islam Lahore broke off from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on the basis of Khilafat. According to them, the Anjuman founded by the Promised Messiah (as) is his rightful successor. More than a century has passed since then, and the respective conditions of both the Qadian and the Lahori Jamaat are evident for all to observe. The Ahmadiyya Khilafat stands strong with the support of Allah the Almighty to this day.
The Promised Messiah (as) made it clear in The Will that, just like the Holy Prophet (sa) was succeeded by Hazrat Abu Bakr (ra) and other Khulafa, he too would be succeeded by Khilafat, the “second manifestation” of divine power.
Throughout the hundred-year history of the Jamaat, Allah the Almighty has continued to extend His mighty hands in support of the Jamaat, fulfilling the prophecy of the Promised Messiah (as), while the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, under the leadership of Khilafat, continues to present and spread the pristine message of Islam to all the corners of the earth.
Throwback Thursday. 21 years ago today (in 2005) then Governor of Lagos State, @officialABAT, chaired the Sir Michael Otedola Scholarship Scheme Award Ceremony. Today His Excellency now serves as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In the ceremony I donated N200,000,000 (two hundred million naira only) to the scholarship scheme founded by my late father in 1987, continuing our family’s commitment to investing in the education.
True wealth is not measured by what we keep, but by the lives we change 🕊️ … F.Ote💲
