@USGeocaching@KennyMasonMady A12- A nice social potluck event with an interactive adventure lab challenge only available during the event duration on international geocaching day. Wait a second, I hosted literally that last year and people said it was the best event they've ever attended! #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching@KennyMasonMady A11- The online logs that you write is what cache owners love the most. I love getting the occasional emails of a really good log. You don't really realize the importance of the online log until you start hiding your own caches. #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching@KennyMasonMady A10- Social media is how everyone kind of knows me no matter wherever I travel from my videos circulating around. It's fun either reading certain logs and being like I know that person or I can't believe they were here just last week etc. #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching@KennyMasonMady A9- Just trying not to get involved basically. In the end it's just a game and there honestly shouldn't be as much drama as there actually is. #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching@KennyMasonMady A8- A hider recruited about 20 different co's to hide caches that would all be part of a 60 cache series for a geocacher turning 60. They were mostly all 1 terrains to make fun of the age. #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching@KennyMasonMady A7- Hosting high quality events (not just simple meet and greets and participating in Operation World Wide Cache Hide. https://t.co/IzXvgXzIOw
#USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching@KennyMasonMady A6- I've shown a handful of people geocaching over the years but none ever got started with it. One did though make an account but didn't do much after except for 1 adventure lab. So I felt some accomplishment there but not much. #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching@KennyMasonMady A5- Attending events has changed my overall life, after my first mega all of my vacations except for 1 has strictly been for geocaching in new areas across the country. Also everywhere I go it seems like everybody knows me by now. #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching@KennyMasonMady A4- Hide under a bridge over water, one guy was standing on a paddle board as I along with a couple others were trying to hold the board still from the current and using ropes with people on either side of the water for the person standing to grab the cache. #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching@KennyMasonMady A3- The team ups that I've been invited for have been due to my climbing skills. One time the group brought along a little giant ladder just in case carrying it half a mile for me to just climb a tree to get on top of an old bridge. No ladder needed #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching@KennyMasonMady A1- The Geocaching Ninja coming in from snowy Western New York. Spent the day at home watching some Netflix and solving some puzzles. #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching A8- Caching in 2 feet of snow, snow you can generally brush off and not get wet, slush you have no idea what will happen. #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching A7- Hiking a half mile round trip with crutches right after I broke my ankle through 4 inches of snow just for an FTF. Of course I would do it again. #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching A5- Its been a weird winter for me so caching has been give or take on what I've been wanting to find or able to do. Typically I'll plan a direction to to for the day or a specific area to cache in based off of current weather/season though. #USGeocachingHour
@USGeocaching A4- Still have never really looked at the treasures, I don't want them to affect how I cache. It also seems like I earn 1 every time I log a find. #USGeocachingHour
