Geode v5 for 2.208 is out!

This release includes a LOT of internal changes, which bring increased performance, less bugs, and a unified mod keybinds system.

Please be patient with mod developers, not all mods are updated for 2.208 yet.

[HJfod @HJfod]

I like that RobTop is taking inspiration from mods and adding them to the base game! However, call me selfish, but I would like to receive some sort of acknowledgement that the mod I spent 4 years on has been directly copied into the base game, without ever asking me

They offered to buy us out for two hotdogs and a cigarette. We simply couldn't refuse.

@closeinthedark @LoonieLoonz It should've already updated automatically, if it hasn't then just reinstall!

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@LoonieLoonz We've been alerted to the myriad of fakes and have been trying to report them and get them taken down, but unfortunately there's not that much we can do ☹️

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@mohamedthe98151 Tomorrow!

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

Hello! Geode broke because of the latest GD update (2.2081). We are working hard to update it, hoping to get it done in the next few days, but we have a lot of underlying changes to make, so please be patient :)

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@activerrr_ This sunday!

[HJfod @HJfod]

Hey guys! Just wanted to give a quick update on how Geode is going: we released a beta for developers yesterday and have spent today watching mods be ported and fixing crashes :) The update is most likely going to be fully released next week for everyone, sorry for the wait :)

[HJfod @HJfod]

I released a new YouTube video going over why Geode is taking so long to release for Update 2.208! Hope this makes things a little more clear :)

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@Filip123fx nah we ran into major issues but they should soon be fixed!

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@negreizor Thanks HJfod

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@ddux449613 ja

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@TitanaBravin Yes, although they need to be updated by the developer to support the new version!

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@sullens_dwagon @mattt_nguy70673 Yeah he would, but I also fully understand that he wants to keep control of his game. I know from personal experience that open-sourcing even just one part of your project can lead to it feeling like your artistic passion is no longer yours, and that sucks

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@santisigma1 sorry i had two classes today and had to do a lot of homework 😢 i didn't get home until 11 PM and by then it was too late to do any programming

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@mattt_nguy70673 @sullens_dwagon RobTop is actually a perfectly competent developer! Most of the things people blame him for (such as this one) are just inevitabilities of programming. There's only a very few cases of genuinely baffling code in GD, and even those can be explained away by the game's age

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@AnvarGamer52 @RocketPadGamer nej och också inga av våra utvecklare är svensk, men nåra av oss talar svenska 🤭

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@RocketPadGamer this is actually true since every Geode developer is gay and/or trans ❤️

[GeodeSDK @GeodeSDK]

@MadLad82175381 Practically not possible unless RobTop helps us out on that
