Successful projects start with a great architect.
Design is where everything begins — but it only works if it’s grounded in reality. Be transparent about your budget early so your architect can design within the right parameters from the start.
Once you have a concept… pause.
Before moving into full construction drawings, take the time to validate pricing. This is where many projects either stay on track — or drift out of alignment. Spending a little time here can save significant time, money, and frustration later.
If you’re looking for a second set of eyes to help validate your budget early, that’s something I’m doing through Build Coach.

It’s incredibly disingenuous to vote Conservative in your riding, only to have the person you elected cross the floor and join the Liberals afterward. Most voters aren’t just choosing an individual — they’re voting for a party, a platform, and a direction for the country. In many cases, we don’t even have a real choice between individuals; we’re effectively choosing the party we want representing https://t.co/xKPPY7jDyL when someone runs under the Conservative banner, earns votes based on that vision, and then switches to the Liberal side, it completely undermines the democratic process. The people in that riding didn’t vote for a Liberal representative — they voted for a Conservative https://t.co/onHf2akILh feels like a bait-and-switch, and it’s hard to understand how it’s allowed without requiring a byelection. If a representative wants to change parties, they should go back to the voters and earn that mandate again. Anything less makes it seem like voters’ choices don’t actually matter once the election is over.
