Allow me to re-introduce myself:

My name is Zain Bando. I’m 25 and hold two degrees in journalism. Right now, I call Downers Grove, Ill. home and I am proud of it. My work consists of everything having to do with sports and content creation, particularly centered around college athletics and combat sports (MMA/Boxing). Whether that’s writing or podcasting, I’m always busy. But, the people who are closest to me, I always make time for them.

This is stating the obvious, but my wheelchair is an extension of me. Even though I am still young, I have fully accepted I will always live with a disability. While to some it may be considered a burden, I see it as who I am. I don’t like the word “inspiration,” but if I could brighten someone’s day, even a little bit, I will.

Always pursue an act of kindness everyday, even at the smallest level. You’ll never know who you might impact.
