@D_LittleproudMP We tested these DNA EID tags for lambs parentage. It was an attempt to save mothering lambs. The other aim was for disease control.

@D_LittleproudMP The huge cost Australia livestock producers adopting compulsory NLIS EID tagging for stock movements surely should go along way tracking or prevention of a disease outbreak or fast track isolating all infectious.

@hasselljpb Found a sample we tested in WA. Tissue is collected pushed into tube & sealed in one action that tag for tracking a two metics code including EID number matching the visual tag number. Tissue tube used DNA solution maintaining the animals ear tissue for genetic analysis
