1/2 Back from my recent road trip up the East Coast
Bempton Cliffs. Highlights- Puffin, Razorbill, Guillemot, Gannet, Fulmar, Shag, Tree Sparrow.
Frampton Marshes. Highlights - Red Crested Pochard, Black Wing Stilt, Temmincks Stint, Corn Bunting, Garganey

Very early morning start at Minsmere proved to be well worth it.
Highlights - Roseate Tern, Little Gull, Greenshank x 6, Glossy Ibis.

Returned to RSPB Arne today. Finally got to see a White Tailed Eagle. First for over 30 years ( Skye ).
What a bird.

Excellent day at RSPB Arne, Dorset today.
Unfortunately no WTE. Might take the harbour boat excursion later this week.
Highlights - Osprey, Pied Flycatcher, Ring Ouzel, Blackcap, Whitethroat, Dartford Warbler, Crossbill, Common & Sandwich Terns, Spoonbill.

In Dorset with Mrs W for a week's holiday. Couldn't resist the chance to visit Swineham for the Red Spotted Bluethroat. Very crowded but well worth it for a lifer. Superb bird

Just back from visiting my son and family, near Mons, Belgium.
Highlights, many White Storks, together with Ruddy Shelduck, Black Woodpecker, Goshawk, Wood Lark, SEOwl and Red Squirrel

Cracking day out at RSPB Titchwell today. 79 species recorded.
Highlights - RN, BN & Slavonian Grebes, RB Merganser, Eider. LT Duck, Short Eared & Tawny Owls

My trips have centred around Santon Downham.

Westleton Heath - Dartford Warbler. No sign of Nightingale from yesterday.

Visit to Hickling Broad today.
Highlights - Hen Harrier ( F ), Garganey, Spoonbill, Willow Warbler, Blackcap.
Purple Heron reported on 08/04 but staff not aware where sited. Any further information would be appreciated.
