@WTOP FCPS parent here. Pretty sure a kid designed the calendar. Hardly any normal weeks. Multiple closures for special elections. Early release days littered throughout the year. Closed for 2 days after spring break. Memorial Day is somehow a 5 day weekend. Early release for wind.

@davidzweig This is nothing compared to Fairfax County, VA, which closed school early last week because it was windy, gave schools two days off the week immediately after spring break, and has somehow turned Memorial Day into a five day weekend.
