If you are building a website using AI, you absolutely need to know how to prompt it.
and no, "do a good job, make no mistakes, and make it SEO optimized", is not a good prompt
you have to make sure the canonical tags are referencing the live domain rather than the staging domain
you have to make sure that the site has a site map and is indexable
you preferably want the site to render server-side and be written in HTML
when AI builds schema, you want it to be at the top of the code
at least as it stands today, the major AI website building platforms don't do this natively out of the box
you still have to know what you're doing
and no, these are not small errors. If you get something like your canonical tags messed up, your website literally will never rank in Google at all
Risk it, because you'll never be able to lose it all.
Sure, you can lose some money, you can lose some time, and you can lose some motivation, but the one thing that makes it all possible, you can never lose, and that's your ability to learn, grow, and create...
...And because of that, there is no real risk in anything you do.
So do it, risk it, and work your way through it. It will all work out better than you could ever imagine.
