These one-month-old leopard cubs and their mother were spotted near Baines' Lodge in Botswana's Okavango Delta. What a rare sighting, only made possible by the unmatched knowledge of A&K Sanctuary guides.
There's nothing I enjoy more than planning a complex Private Jet journey (except maybe the actual travel). If you could add one ‘must-see’ destination to an around-the-world itinerary, what would it be?
Join me this Oct 2-25 for my next ATW Private Jet adventure

Wonderful to see this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue shot at A&K Sanctuary’s Baines' Lodge and Stanley’s Camp, with Alix Earle on the cover. It reminds me of our 2012 journey to Antarctica with the @SI_Swimsuit team to capture Kate Upton’s now-iconic cover.
In A&K’s early days, we travelled to places where you couldn’t always drink the water.
Today, through A&K Philanthropy's efforts, we help provide clean wells in many of those same regions, ensuring local communities have access to safe drinking water.
It is a reminder that travel is not only about where you go, but how you leave a place behind.
Ted Turner was an icon in every sense of the word.
I always admired his deep love of the land and wildlife, and his determination to protect both for future generations. He was an extraordinary character, a visionary and above all, a man who genuinely cared about the future of the planet.
What made Ted so remarkable was that when you were with him, you always wanted more time. He was endlessly curious and incredibly knowledgeable on an astonishing range of subjects. I was fortunate to spend time with him over the years on many trips, including this safari in Botswana and fly fishing at his ranch in Montana. I also had the privilege of interviewing him at the WTTC World Summit in 2011. I always came away inspired by the scale of his thinking and the depth of his passion.
Rest in peace, my friend.
Few travellers have visited the Caucasus, but they should.
I went to Armenia in 2017 on my Private Jet journey, and moments like this at Garni Temple stayed with me long after I left.
That journey inspired the development of a new Small Group Journey through Armenia and Georgia, two countries still wonderfully under the radar, yet rich in culture, cuisine and character.

This June, Ngorongoro Crater Camp reopens in a new location within this UNESCO-listed landscape, and I couldn’t be more excited about its new location. The setting offers vast skies and remarkable wildlife activity right around camp, including giraffes, which you won’t find inside the Crater itself, and an impressive presence of predators early in the year.
The camp has been kept intentionally intimate, with just 10 tented suites, but elevated every detail, from polished hardwood floors to private decks that open onto sweeping views.
Do you find yourself drawn back to the places you love—or always chasing somewhere new?
For me, it’s both. There are destinations I return to time and again, each visit revealing something deeper. And then there are those that have been on my radar for years.
This October, I'm looking forward to returning to Goa on my Private Jet journey, with its special blend of Portuguese and Southern Indian heritage.
It is exciting to watch as Artemis II flew around the moon, travelling farther from Earth than any humans in history. For the rest of us, there are several places on earth that capture the otherworldly lunar landscape, like Chile’s Atacama Desert, the red sands of Jordan's Wadi Rum, and the sculpted dunes of Sossusvlei, Namibia. Where have you been that reminded you of the moon?

Exciting news for travellers from the UK and Canada, you can now visit China visa-free for up to 30 days.
With more than 5,000 years of history, there's so much to see. I recommend including a cruise on the Yangtze River to take in the stunning vistas of the famed Three Gorges region.

Time is non-refundable, so I’ve always tried to spend it on experiences that make my heart race and my mind expand. At 16, it was a motorbike from Nairobi to Cape Town. Today, it’s sharing the world with fellow adventurers. Where are you investing your time this year?

There's nothing better than hearing from guests that they’ve had the perfect journey:
"Very rarely do you have a perfect trip. Someone or something is always not quite right or enjoyable. However, on this trip to India, we experienced unparalleled levels of fantastic customer service and meticulous organization. The planning, execution and personnel were exceptional.”
– A recent guest on their A&K journey through India
Often remembered for its military past, Okinawa reveals a completely different side of Japan: lush, forested hills, swaying sugar‑cane fields and luminous blue waters perfect for diving and sailing.
An unforgettable time to encounter Uganda’s mountain gorillas is April, May, and November for a quieter side of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The Uganda Wildlife Authority is now extending a limited-time permit offer of just $600 per traveller, encouraging visits during these serene months.
We paired our trek with a stay at the newly refurbished Gorilla Forest Lodge, the only luxury property set insidethe park gates and just steps from the trailhead.
With the Academy Awards taking place this weekend, did you know New Zealand's cinematic landscapes have set the state for countless Oscar-winning films, from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies to Avatar?
Our team in New Zealand can arrange for a private visit to @WetaWorkshop in Wellington, where you can step behind the scenes to see how master craftspeople bring your favourite films to life.
The greatest privilege of a life well-travelled is getting to share it with the people you love. Adventures are richer they become family memories told for years to come, like our family trip to Kenya a few years ago.
South Australia is one of the world's best places to encounter the country's unique wildlife. On the Eyre Peninsula, you can 4WD across sand dunes, enjoy pristine beaches and fresh local seafood, all while spotting kangaroos, emus and Australia's iconic wild koala, who are an example of a conservation success story. Six koalas were introduced here from Kangaroo Island in 1969 and now there is a very healthy population.
