@MrTeece_ Can I say that your staff are lucky to have you, as although you are seemingly helpless to do much about it, you are aware of it. I don't think our SLT are remotely aware of what our staff battle with everyday.
@ProudlyPastoral We had a similarly impossible post advertised for internal applicants only. I was really interested in parts of the job. Only two people applied so they split the job into two roles and gave it to them without advertising it as two separate roles, one of which I would have liked.
@Strickomaster Should it be a requirement of each school to have to record the number of hours of extra curricular activities carried out by teachers? Myself, I'm on 3 hours 45 minutes per week of unpaid extra curricular time. I really don't mind doing it, but I don't think management are aware
@alancolman Anyone in the WMCC fancy coming over the border to join the Somerset Masonic Cycling Association for a fraternal ride? We're thinking of the 5th or 6th of August? Weather dependent, but what we can guarantee is great company and a cider stop or two!
@wiltspgl@PGLSomerset Anyone in the Wiltshire Masonic Cycling Club fancy coming over the border to join the Somerset Masonic Cycling Association for a fraternal ride? We're thinking of the 5th or 6th of August? Weather dependent, but what we can guarantee is great company and a cider stop or two!
Just checking with my teaching colleagues. Is it still the case that I shouldn't be losing PPA to cover lessons? This is starting to become a regular occurrence.

@JasonLeonard114@EnglandRugby@SixNationsRugby An awesome match showing both English and Scottish rugby at its best. A shame about the score (I'm English) but so far both Six Nations matches have shown that, with new coaches and young talent, our sport is on a new and exciting trajectory a transformational journey-can't wait!
Isn't making public sector pay comparable to private sector pay a form of "levelling up"? I seem to hear the government going on about levelling up an awful lot, maybe this should be their focus.
@AndyBurnhamGM If you think it's solely Social Care that's driving the NHS to breaking point then you're yet another politician who doesn't get it and believe me, we've got a government full of them already.
@CorkBuachaill @hugh_scott001 @indeeditis1@VeteranIrish Flying the nation's flag upside down used to be a sign of a ship in distress. Perhaps this represents the UK Government's position?
