What is Undergraduate Education?
Thanks to Dr Amy and Sophie for delivering a talk to junior doctors on what teaching opportunities are available.
If you have any questions about UG teaching please email the UG team!
Feedback from OSCE examiners 🎉
Great to get such positive feedback from our examiners, as it was our first time running an OSCE in our new education centre.

I loved seeing the MOSLER exam this week!
It was an impressive amount of organisation that went in to the day, I’m glad to be part of such a great team!
Spotted 👀👀
This is a view of two very happy staff members after organising a successful MOSLER exam.
Great work from the UG team Eileen and Dr Dan on organising a smooth and successful exam day 🎉

Life update:
After 4 years as a teacher and 6 years working in secondary schools I’ve got a new job in Medical Education.
Excited for my new role supporting our amazing NHS 💙💙
I’ve had lots of questions about my tutoring booklets;
1. A retrieval practice page - students complete as much as they can, then I work with them on any gaps/misconceptions
2. Exam practice - applying the knowledge by planning/writing an answer or looking at modelled answers
At the beginning of the Euros each of my students picked a country in the tutor sweepstake, England was not pulled out, so I told me class that if England I would buy them all a chocolate bar, thinking that would never happen.
Guess I better go shopping since it's #ComingHome 😂
I used @BiznationUK's article for a 6th form taster session looking at global governance. It created a really great debate development and the wealth gap.
Fab resource
Super interesting article by my SO on the $100 billion club.
Unsurprisingly the richest people in the word are all white men....

Fantastic day today, it's been great to be back in the classroom and seeing how engaged the students are.
Also I ran my first teaching and learning session for staff after school. Today's lesson on cross curriculum literacy and approaches to promote reading and writing.
A different take on guided reading- an activity sheet focusing on key words. This is an example I’ve created for coastal management. Template shared if you would like it: https://t.co/gaVf1Jzqxk #literacymatters#geographyteacher Note:Key word triangle from ‘closing the word gap’
Women’s History Month.
A woman in history a day, smashes the patriarchy away! ✊💜🔨
A calendar resource for students of some women in history as well as some of our great historians @HallieRubenhold@MirandaKaufmann

It was an absolute honour to speak at @UoNSociology careers event about my career so far.
It was great to see so many young people engaged in social research and passionate about furthering their careers.
Thank you @UoNSociology for hosting
It always amazes me how much we teachers can get done in a day. I co-created a strategy to plan, deliver and assess my Year 11 students.
Ensuring that all children can reach there potential, feel supported and confident in their knowledge is the top priority. 💪
