@RoyalMailHelp - now then.
I recently photographed a Pillar Box that seems to be made entirely of sheet steel.
What are these called? when did you start using them?

@oceanexplorer I used to work on various types of survey ship. One type of job was seafloor surveying with a cone penetrometer, to determine suitability for laying seabed cables (e.g.fibre optic internet)
Could it be that?

@trainlineplc
You need to sort your website out.
"https://t.co/JKEobxLX8i" has a button for "contact customer support". goes to "https://t.co/loobQbPFqP"
There is no option for "problems with the web site". When I call the phone number they say they don't know about that.
@trainlineplc
You need to sort your web page out.
Your web page would not take payment by Amex. Your app on Android did. Amex say there were no attempted transaactions. Looks like your web payment system is not configured for PSD2 enhanced security.

@markedly Person: "it's bound to rain tomorrow"
Me: "Why?"
Person: "because it didn't rain today"
Me: "why does that mean it will rain tomorrow?"
Person: "That's how the law of averages works".
@markedly I used to drive an Austin Montego. It had a fuel cut-off valve in the event of a collision. One day I hit a pothole on the A52 between Threekingham and Grantham, and had to lie in the road to crawl about and reset it.
A bloke from 3 cars back asked "Heff you broken down"?
@markedly Checking into an hotel in Mobile, Alabama, I was asked for photo ID. I produced a passport. The receptionist successively asked
"What's this little book?"
"What's a passport?"
and, having found the photo page,
"How do I know this is you?"
