"I don't want to do UGC clipping, itβs just botted views"
"Clipping is just spam, not for me"
Bro, do u hate money or something?
I constantly see app founders treating clipping as something of a joke, botted views, nothing elseβ¦
The market doesn't care whether you like something
If it's on the table, USE IT
yeah, clipping doesn't work if a clown is running your campaign, but structure it properly and you just built an acquisition channel that runs for months.
some clips convert worse than others, but the videos are already made. hitting upload costs you nothing, and skipping a free distribution channel because you "don't vibe with it" is INSANE.
keep your "vibe" while 17 year olds run circles around you because they actually used what they had.
Our top clipper made $103,000 last month
We are 6 months into launching with a product id still consider an MVP
Will report back when we have our first $500,000 creator month
Most "viral" clips aren't actually good content β they're just posted at the right second by someone who understood timing better than the creator ever will.
The algorithm rewards the clipper, not the original creator.
@arrizanovic@alexxgrowth I understand, but it's mainly about consistency, if you keep posting and improving your editing and video quality, the work will pay off. Rome wasn't built in a day.
Clipping isn't about cutting the "best" moment.
It's about finding the exact second someone would naturally stop scrolling β then ending the clip right there. Most people cut too late and kill the momentum.
Most people think a clipping agency just cuts videos.
Real job is matching the right clip style to the right platform algorithm β a clip that pops on TikTok can flop on X, and vice versa.
Editing is 20% of the work. Distribution logic is the other 80%.
Spent a year clipping content before starting an agency.
Weird thing I noticed: top creators rarely post the "best" clip. They post the one with the most natural cutoff in the first 2 seconds.
Editing skill matters less than people think. Pacing matters more.
