Did you all hear about the Bricks and Minifigs franchise that tried to steal MGS BRICK’s golden $1000 C3-PO minifig?
Yeah fam, it’s time to sell your stuff on eBay. It’s not hard, I promise, and we need to put them out of business. Sorry not sorry.

The fact that Bricks and Mini Figs could have ended this for under $200k USD and avoided all the PR damage pains my corporate counsel core
This case has horrible decision makers on all sides
Bricks and Minifigs - from BAD to WORSE!
This is the body cam footage of the Utah police talking to the former franchisee about the Bricks and Minifigs (BAM) Reckless Ben situation.
The man puts the CEO of BAM, Ammon McNeff, on the phone. McNeff says a number of interesting things:
1) He ADMITS that the family is owed the money, but denies that he or the new franchisee owe it.
I reserve the right to be mistaken, but my understanding of franchise law is that although the franchisor is typically NOT liable for the debts of the franchisee, there are circumstances under which they can be - e.g. if they exercise sufficient control over the franchisee, such that the franchisee can be considered an “agent” under the law.
Given the degree of involvement the CEO is displaying with the new franchisee (the guy holding the phone), that argument might be made here.
2) He ADMITS the money is owed, but claims that Ben (Reckless Ben) has no interest in it.
This too is not necessarily true if the owner of the LEGOs assigned his claim to Ben. But set that possibility aside…
3) McNeff says that Ben and the others threatened to kill someone, attempted to commit extortion, and other serious crimes.
Again, under reserve of the right to be wrong, while it’s not illegal to lie per se to an officer in Utah, my understanding is that it is illegal to make false statements with the intention of getting officers to conduct official acts (i.e. press charges).
With the accusations he is making - that Ben threatened to kill someone! - McNeff might be getting close to that line.
4) McNeff ADMITS the money is owed, but claims the former franchisee broke all sorts of rules in contracting with the LEGO owner, which is why the franchisor terminated their agreement.
Depending on the knowledge of the misconduct of the franchisee, that might be another argument for the potential liability of corporate - if they knowingly let the franchisee break rules to the detriment / fraud of customers.
All that to say, the more McNeff talks, the more damage he causes to the brand and goodwill of BAM - even if Reckless Ben did cross certain lines.
New body cam footage from American Fork PD with the Bricks and Minifigs saga shows little sniveling bitch Josh Johnson whining he can’t be served court papers. Fuck this dude!
The CEO of BAM released this statement and it just comes off as pretentious and pompous.
BAM 100% tried to say they don’t do consignment even though it’s clearly in the Franchise Contract.
Unfortunately BAM is now a party to the Am Fork PD corruption. It’s too little too late.
"Lets get these douchebags off of his property...oops probably shouldn't have said that."
More crazy LEGO scandal bodycam footage from the American Fork Police Department as one of the police officers reveal he's friends with the AirBNB owner that Reckless Ben is staying in.
I don't know how Bricks and Minifigs will ever recover from this.
Do you guys think Joshua Johnson, Ammon McNeff and Brandon Best realize how bad it is for them?
Woah Buddy! Insane LEGO Corruption!
The American Fork Police Department just "accidentally" released 50gb of unredacted Body Cam footage reguarding Reckless Ben and Bricks and Minifigs, but deleted it to late before the internet grabbed them.
In the media dump the Joshua Johnson asks to see the legal court papers but the officer refuses to show it to him because it would count as a legal service and says it would "place him in a bind"
This police department, Joshua Johnson and Ammon McNeff are all toast. I've never seen the internet unanimously come together in unison on anything like this in my life.
@BenIrvo Still so much potential such an enjoyable game the flying is truly the best and the combat with each Javelin having different play style. Between its release and now I still enjoy it more than many games that have been coming out. It was killed to early
