I guess it will take a bit of time until this brand new production line will produce this brand new model flawlessly 100% - hence the April announcement.
BUT - today will go in the (Grokipedia :) books, as a historic GLOBAL day!
💪🚘🧠
@Teslarati I have a feeling that, if they sell Cybercabs, Tesla will keep the gold for themselves, leaving all other options for clients' fleets.
Visual distinction will make sense in crowded cities...
Maybe I'm wrong, just a hunch :)
@alex_avoigt@HessMike_ You miss one essential point.
SPCX and TSLA will go under one ticker. Soon.
So it matters less which one you have now.
Just own one or another or both.
You'll be better than those who don't.
SpaceX will most probably be the biggest company on earth.
Everybody (and I mean every "body" doing clouds and any server business - from Amazon to Google to John Doe) - will move computing into space.
ALL AI brains will be carried to space - by SpaceX.
As for Tesla - FSD will be most reliable, ensured by 24/7 guaranteed connection to the big brain - plus between them.
A merger should dilute shareholders on paper, while, in my opinion, should considerably grow share value.
Engineering and tech - "small subset"?
You sounded intelligent up to that point :)
You typed your reply on a DEVICE connected to a NETWORK while probably sitting on a SOFA, after you drove a CAR today and opened a DOOR to enter a BUILDING where you also used a TOILET.
Literally everything around you is "engineering" and "tech".
Repeat after me: EVERY-thing.
If anything around you stops functioning - your entire "customer facing" roles are completely disabled and useless.
Women should wake up... or take some cold showers.
Literally.
Peace ✌️🙂
AV's (especially Tesla) - whether this year or next- will work 24/7, whether on the move or not.
- deliveries (they won't carry only people but also products)
- AI, both training and inference (these cars are powerful "servers" on wheels)
And if we consider their future V2L capability, they may help even with energy distribution in urgent or planned situations (they are also batteries on wheels :)
To do all these, good resource management and planning are needed. And Tesla is the master of both.
@CyberY57@CuriousPejjy I completely agree... wrong time to sell, with one logical exception.
Some - lacking cash - are definitely selling Tesla to get into SPCX IPO, which will inevitably grow from $135, if not try to catch up with (or get close to) TSLA - *before* the merger.
Possible.
For this particular example there's no need for "AI detectors" - any teacher with enough critical thinking will notice the letters are exactly the same, that never happens from a student.
Handwriting is far from being simulated.
Until AI learns handwriting "styles" we're ok, but after that... I guess the only 100% way to test knowledge will be face to face :)

If I remember well, in his analysis, Alex included only US, and only cities with population over 500k. In my humble opinion he barely touched 5-10% of AV's demand worldwide. Once unsupervised is proven and legal AND starlink connected, robotaxis (cybercabs, MY or 3) will revolutionize Earth's transport industry.
Even if Tesla grabs only 50% of the market next decade (which is very unlikely), it's still 5-10 times more than his estimates, which hints at Ark's numbers.
Objectively, by all statistics, he cannot be right.
@honza_thorovsky@alojoh The simpler question is: "whoever" wants space datacenters (whether Micron, Google, Amazon, Apple etc) - what exactly will they use to put them up there?
Because for now, the only company capable to launch and run their Starlink "computers" - is SpaceX, soon SpaceX/Tesla.
@GiaMMacool@8trius The "emotional intelligence" concept may sound obsolete...
BUT
Without being judgemental, the increased number of single mothers mathematically proves that "emotional stupidity" exists - and is thriving :)
Peace

Every time someone says ‘emotional intelligence,’ I know they’re deep in feminist brain rot with zero frame.
True intelligence is consistent, logical, and reliable over time.
Emotions flip hourly with zero constancy.
The word “emotional intelligence” was created by a feminist in 1990. 🤣
These days, I think people just hear things that sound good and just start repeating them for no good reason.
Elon *has* pure autism, he sees everything as 0 or 1. Whether right or wrong, his 100% consenting women are seen as "necessary" (1) for him to function within his own pressurized "ahead world", because he ALSO sees the matrix 10-20 years ahead. Hence, Tesla boredom appearance.
"What next?"
FSD is solved (in his own future-present mind), robots are surgeons, world transport is completely autonomous etc... What next?
Space servers, free infinite AI via 24/7 solar, hourly moon launches to Mars etc.
We ask... what about now, @elonmusk?
He answers "Let's do it."
I can almost guarantee that he doesn't care about money - or at least not as investors do. We see money as "better life" but for him money is just gears to solve the next problem.
Human species problem.
I don't know if his approach is the "right one"...
But I know one thing. If he lives for next 5-10 years - Tesla/Spacex will inevitably dominate transport autonomy and robotics on earth, plus start a new "non-finite economy" in space.
He's not "bored" - he's just "ahead", maybe too ahead for everyone to comprehend and accept.
Peace.
✌
@Henrymorgan76@sydney_ev You've been babbling for hours about a well-known issue that batteries on fire are harder to extinguish - issue that is already addressed by fire dept PLUS in 10 years max solved.
YOU ignore the FACT that you have to wait for 140 hybrids AND 60 ICE cars to burn until one EV does
@Henrymorgan76@sydney_ev Use your fingers:
After 60 ICE cars burn
AND
After 140 bybrids burn
You can expect 1 (let me spell for you: o-n-e) EV to catch fire.
Case closed.
