George Glass

Don't worry, I am under no illusion that anyone is listening. This is just a place to take notes to remind me later.

@gaghyogi49 If I'm not mistaken, it's actually a re-creation. If you look at the shapes on the bottom half, the triangle within a circle is oriented differently in the two versions.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@meladoodle Not my work I promise, but thought you might get a laugh out of this defacement I saw recently.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@gaghyogi49 According to the DS9 Companion, it all started thanks to "Meridian".

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@JamesC_Online 2. The 2001 PAL release does feature one mirrored shot in this sequence as opposed to the previous 1997 US release, as well as the subsequent 2001 US release.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@JamesC_Online 1. Just a slight addendum to one point. This one, "According to IMDb, some shots from the future war sequence in which a Terminator infiltrates the bunker are flipped to match the action, however, many Terminator fans and collectors checked every VHS..."

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@gaghyogi49 I guess Sela inherited her decorating preferences from Tasha. Obviously not the same prop, but similar enough to amuse me.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@DarrellRoot @gaghyogi49 I don't know the first appearance, but it's definitely before 'Arsenal of Freedom'. We see the Ent-D's shield in 'Datalore' when the Crystalline Entity touches it.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@gaghyogi49 I absolutely prefer the original. The TNGR version felt very unfinished. (Especially the shot of Junior emerging from the mother.)

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@jimandthem Cool, I'll rip the bits and bundle them up together for you. Can you send me a DM so I can give you the link in private?

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@JonandAl's Christmas present sorted!

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@RobAitken10 @gaghyogi49 Although it is odd they still consider 30 to be a third of their lifespan. ;)

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@drex As well as Twister.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@gaghyogi49 And a tiny bug can be seen on Q's forehead in "The Last Generation" so it's an Enterprise tradition. ;)

(In the early version at least, they erased it for the second release.)

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@lesbianriker Does it make sense for the hospital to be easily accessed by the general population? I'd say yes.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@StarfleetDesign Annoyingly, some disc releases of the TOS movies ditch the original subs in favor of player-generated ones, but here's a shot from Beyond.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@StarfleetDesign Was this not the typeface used for subtitles in several TOS Trek films? Also brought back in Star Trek Beyond.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@gaghyogi49 Reminds me of when Bones pronounces Sehlat differently just two seconds after hearing Amanda say it.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@Jester_NeNe @gaghyogi49 But only when first introduced at Farpoint Station. Once she gets to the Enterprise she's a full Commander. I assume the new posting came with a promotion. CMO and all that.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@JonandAl I especially like the Gremlin Rag kicking in when Brendan gets into his AMC Gremlin.

[George Glass @GeorgeFrancisco]

@gaghyogi49 Dukat is also seen with red blood, a tiny trickle of it when he tears his earring off in "Covenant".
