@StuartLancsweb@RafHM In case you missed it, we stood alone until December 7, 1941. The USA was attacked by Japan that day at Pearl Harbor and as Japan was an ally of Germany the war became global. Yes we needed American help, but until that day the British stood alone.
@CatchUpFeed Is he even half aware of the history of Poland? That in the 1790s the country was divided between Prussia, Russia and Austria-Hungary and ceased to exist. In 1919 much of the country was reassembled from what Germany Russia and Austria-Hungary had stolen from the Poles.
@jomickane What do many Brits want of Muslims? I’d say that the evidence suggests that Brits would prefer they leave the UK as their ideology is antithetical with a state based on Christianity and the Bible.
@rogerlorton@alexbland Whilst I think you are partly correct constitutionally, there are a small number precedents for the monarch not acknowledging the death of a fellow monarch, a leader, ruler. The king can and may veto requests by the government for acknowledgment of the deaths of foreign leaders.
