East Kilbride FC would like to announce a number of behind-the-scenes changes ahead of the new season.
Firstly, the club wishes to place on record its sincere thanks to Dave McKenna, who has stepped down from his role as Club Secretary. Dave has given tireless service over many years, and his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to East Kilbride FC have been invaluable. Everyone at the club extends their gratitude and very best wishes to Dave for the future.
Following this change, Peter Hickey will take over the role of Club Secretary. As a result, Peter will step down from his position as Match Secretary, with John Dods joining the club to take on that role ahead of the new season. We warmly welcome John to East Kilbride FC and look forward to his contribution.
The club is also delighted to announce that Ewen Stevenson will be joining the board as Director of Matchday Operations. Ewen’s appointment represents an exciting addition as we continue to strengthen our off-field structure.
These changes mark an important step as the club continues to build for the future, both on and off the pitch.
We are recruiting for a Lead Coach for our U20s Development Team.
Candidates should hold a UEFA B Licence & have relevant experience in senior football.

East Kilbride Community Trust is pleased to confirm that at today’s (9th June 2026) meeting of South Lanarkshire Council’s Planning Committee, full planning permission was granted for constructing a Community Football Spaces Building at the KPark Training Academy.
The proposed new building will provide much needed indoor, warm, spaces and facilities for our young grassroots football players, alongside a wide range of non-football community activities, for all age groups.
Over the coming months, EKCT Trustees will work with its Project Architect, https://t.co/IKUQKorsxO, to finalise design detail and anticipated build period. Progress updates will be provided in due course.
EKCT thanks South Lanarkshire Council and its elected members for supporting EKCT Trustees’ vision for the new Community Building at KPark, as it takes forward its own wider Masterplan Upgrade Plan for the country park.
