Listen, we all want to find the big upset of Week 1, and I’m not talking about any weak shit like FSU beating SMU or Louisville beating Ole Miss. I’m talking about a real grab-your-nuts, turn-college-football-upside-down type of upset, and I think I’ve made some progress.

Now, listen: All I’ve heard this offseason is that no one knows how much they like Matt Campbell at Penn State or this roster, but they know they love the schedule and think it’s one of the easiest in the Big Ten.

If there are three things we know about Penn State, it’s that whiteouts are cool, Joe Pa knew, and they schedule cupcakes for the first three games every year. Villanova, LOL.

Marshall doesn’t exactly fit the cupcake bill to me. Everyone knows that in order to pull off this type of upset, you have to have an experienced quarterback with dual-threat capabilities, which Marshall has, and he has a Power Four pedigree.

Marshall is also no stranger to big upsets, and I can’t stop thinking about how funny it would be if Matt Campbell lost his first game at Penn State.
