GKA are honoured to have been chosen to design the Sheffield Covid Memorial in the city’s Balm Green Gardens. The sculpture takes the form of a willow tree and will be made in stainless steel by a local fabricator in Sheffield
A stainless steel sculpture representing a willow tree is to be installed in Sheffield as a permanent memorial to the Covid pandemic. Artist George King's design was chosen as a "meaningful, long-lasting and creative" tribute to those who died, as well as to key workers.
