There it is. Modi will not attend Ali Khamenei funeral.
Extremely unfortunate for India.
At the time when the world is going through a once in a century change, India has chosen not to stand with Global South nations & the New World Order - where hope, development & prosperity resides.
Nothing should be expected from India's BRICS presidency this year!
The world has figured Modi out.
Give him any award, and he’ll come running.
Seychelles approved a brand-new award - ‘Guardian of the Blue Horizon’ - just four days ago.
It had never been given to anyone before Modi. They were in such a tearing hurry that they even got the official name of the Republic of Seychelles wrong.
Modi also went to Israel earlier this year to receive a similarly freshly minted award (blissfully unaware of the war that broke out a day later), and he received the Philip Kotler Award - many of which have never been given to other people before and after him.
His obsession with awards comes at a cost: Seychelles has been promised a $125 million credit line and $50 million in grants.
Bhakts may be foolish but the rest of the world isn’t.

Each name on this list was a child with a dream, a family, a future - all destroyed by a broken system and a government that refuses to learn or take accountability.
Remember these students. Every one of them.
When PM Modi praised Dharmendra Pradhan ji on his birthday, did he even spare a thought for these children?

Most people do not understand the finer points of the tamasha that is brewing with TMC MPs and SS (UBT) MPs; many still talk of Left- and Right-wing politics and parties.
The NDA currently has 293 MPs, add another 20-22 from NCPI+TMC, 7 from SS (UBT) and 25+ from SP (in the ) and this number shoots to 345-350, i.e. 12-17 short of a two-third majority in the LS (another Rs 100-200 cr and this too becomes achievable) .
Add another 15 MPs by allurement (yet another Rs. 100-200 cr), and the NDA gets its sought after two-thirds in the RS. NDA already controls more than two-third of India’s states. India’s abject surrender to the Zionist forces is now complete and total. All that is needed is a repeat of the omnibus 42nd Constitution (Amendment) Act which would, inter alia, rewrite the basic structure of the Constitution. Some of the salient features may include:
1. Removal of ‘socialist’ and ‘secular’ from the Constitution and amendment to the ‘Republic of India’ nomenclature
2. Shuffling of the Union, State and Concurrent Lists to remove most rights states presently enjoy
3. Sharing of taxes between the Union and States
4. Dispensing of the Collegium system of nomination for the higher judiciary
5. Dispensing of current rules relating to recruitment to posts, civil and defence, under the Union and States and substitute with lateral entry from the ruling party alone
6. Dismantling the civilian bureaucracy in favor of a spoils of office system
7. Centralizing all licensing, prospecting, mining, drilling, survey, etc. of all natural and environmental resources in the Union
8. Extend the life of Parliament to ten years for each House with retrospective effect; delimited MPs would have a tenure coterminous with the life of the House, i.e. 10 years
9. Pass the Delimitation Act without representation for women
10. Bring in the UCC, only for Muslims
11. Tighten the registration and regulation of small political parties
12. Remove all curbs on political party financing and render them tax-free
13. Centralize the appointment of top civil service posts in States for the Union
14. Amend the anti-defection law to proscribe defection/merger with two-third MPs into other parties
15. Dismiss all opposition-ruled govts en route to One Nation One Election and the proclamation of an executive President for life and Governors in states
16. Do away with state assemblies and CMs under the pretext of enhanced representation in the Union Legislature
17. Bring critical List items like education and law and order within the ambit of the Union List onl
18. Introduce nomination of panchayat bodies by the Union
19. Rewrite rules of tendering for govt. contracts and immunity for those involved in the awarding and payment processes
20. Rewrite rules of banking to include state opening of lockers and arbitrary deductions from bank accounts
21. Recast, in toto, Union-State financial relations, laws of contract, water sharing, animal conservation, etc. vesting control in the Union
22. The electronic media, notably Internet space, will be severely regulated, requiring individual users to register with their Aadhaar cards and biometrics.
23. The Apex Court will be limited to a Constitutional role.
24. Restrictions on foreign travel and to India.
25. Force Indians to empty their hoarded gold by invoking the Gold Control Order, 1962
There is much more to add but space and reader interest is limited. Enabling legislation will pass at least once every day.
All this and much more between in the next 3-9 months, and before the current President’s term ends in Jul, 2027. And all it would have taken is a measly ~Rs. 1000 crore to achieve.
The bottom-line is India’s tryst with democracy is a write-off because politicians prostituted the system. And we silently watched from the comfort of our living rooms while India turned into Russia and DPRK.
The sequence is not a coincidence. Stop calling it one.

13 Years of Modi Regime - what the numbers say
(These are official govt. data)
1) Trade Deficit: India’s imports remain higher than exports, mainly due to energy, electronics, and capital-goods demand. Deficit with China record high, and rising.
2) Remittances: Strong inflows from Indians abroad provide stable foreign exchange support.
3) FDI & FPI: FDI is more stable, while FPI remains volatile and sensitive to global markets. Net FDI challenging in recent months.
4) Outward FDI: Indian companies are investing abroad to access markets, technology, and global supply chains.
5) Forex Reserves: Reserves act as a buffer against external shocks and currency volatility. Used to stabilize rupee regularly.
6) Rupee Depreciation: The rupee has weakened over time, raising import costs substantially, but helping export competitiveness (upto a point).

IT’s Wake-Up Call
(1) Vishal Sikka says IT companies should go private. Public shareholders’ quarterly mindset will bring doom. (2) Reddit super thread of Bengaluru IT developers shows what’s coming.
Dr. Sikka’s Radical Recipe 2.0
a. Ten years ago, when no one had heard of AI, Vishal Sikka made a revolutionary move for Infosys to invest in OpenAI. Yesterday, Dr. Sikka made an equally revolutionary suggestion – but this time Murthy cannot fire him for it.
b. Dr. Sikka to CNBC India: “The tsunami has hit us. It’s not Vishal Sikka saying it. The water is already in our living room. It will wipe out the older ways of doing things. To me, the big question is how quickly do you pivot – that is, IF you see the urgency.”
c. Self-Disrupt – Go Private: Dr. Sikka says IT companies should go private. “Being private would afford you the independence to make the radical changes that are necessary.”
d. Indian IT companies are hamstrung by quarterly earning calls, retail shareholder optics, and promoter dividend dependence. (Example: 72% of TCS dividend goes to Tata Sons for funding other group companies). So, they cannot make the existential reinvention required to survive.
e. Dr. Sikka gave the example of Netflix. When Netflix decided to abandon its highly profitable DVD rental business entirely and pivot to a 100% streaming platform, it was a near-death choice.
Revenue dipped, stock crashed, shareholders complained, but Netflix extended its life cycle by decades with the bold self-disruption. Its competitor Blockbuster did not make that choice, and died.
Accenture’s Warning Bells
a. Accenture has cut its full-year revenue growth guidance. The CFO said: “More of the guidance range is in play.” Translation: things could get worse.
b. Year-to-date, Accenture already has 104 client orders of $100+ million each. But the gap between AI bookings and AI revenue realization is becoming a growing concern at every analyst call.
c. Morgan Stanley CIO Survey 2026 shows that overall IT budgets of companies (clients) will grow at 3.7%, but IT services budgets will grow at 2%. Note the difference of 1.7%. It means AI is already eating away 40% of IT services growth.
In other words, total tech spending of clients is not shrinking. But the portion going to traditional IT service providers is being cannibalized by in-house AI.
Signals from Ground Zero
Analysts have to depend on lagging indicators (evaluating past quarter’s results.) But this week, a Reddit super thread of IT developers provides some leading indicators.
a. Signal # 1: The original poster (OP) wrote his B2B product company in Bengaluru eliminated 45 of 50 tech roles overnight (90% workforce reduction). Three IT architects remain (OP is one of them) who will handle the job of 45.
b. Signal # 2: OP says: “100% (not 60% or 80%) of React + Chakra UI frontend code over the last 4 months was written by Claude.
More alarming: a full Okta SSO overhaul was done in 4 days, which would earlier take 2 months. “Claude caught, developed, backtracked, tested many things I did not even know were security holes.”
INVESTOR IMPLICATION: TCS Chairman said AI cannot be trusted for complex work like security vulnerabilities. But in reality, that “complexity ceiling” is rising with every passing day.
OP says the company’s rationale is: “If this restructuring does not pay off in 6 months, we can again hire developers who are available a dime a dozen in Bangalore with oversupply.”
c. Signal # 3: Most Important Signal: A commenter said: “Just because a company can build 3x more products or ship features at 3x faster speed does not mean there are 3x more customers waiting to buy them. Productivity can increase much faster than demand.”
Another commenter said: “Earlier the constraint was on production. Now the constraint is on consumption. Even if we could produce what we want, is there a market to consume it?”
INVESTOR IMPLICATION: “AI will expand demand for IT services (expand total addressable market or TAM)” – this was the original bull thesis for IT stocks.
The reality is the opposite of it. Clients are using AI to cut their costs of production (IT vendor contracts), and not increase sales as there is no demand elasticity.
ENDPIECE: What is Your Exit Thesis?
Question for retail IT investors: What is your exit strategy? Are you hoping that FIIs will start buying “too cheap” Indian IT at some point?
Hope is not a strategy.
As a commenter wrote on the Reddit thread:
“I expect there would mass unemployment by late 2027 or early 2028. Hopefully, that would lead to Universal Basic Income or UBI (government’s monthly payments to unemployed citizens for survival) to be put into effect.”
UBI is already the “hopium trade” in Bengaluru.
