@Tom_MHWB As am I, Tom! My email with the link to this was just above my email from Twitter with you posting about this! I'll be in that online queue bright and early tomorrow....
School Health Research Networks to improve young people's health & wellbeing exist in Wales & Scotland but are yet to be developed & evaluated in England.

What a great day! I really enjoyed presenting and meeting everyone at our #SWSHRNevent yesterday.
It was lovely to have a room full of people dedicated to improving young people’s mental health!
A wonderful workshop yesterday discussing findings, outputs and resources from our pilot study. Thanks to all of those who attended for some great discussions and lots of ideas for the future of the network! #SWSHRNevent#PublicHealth#healthyschools
Have spent the week listening to young people talk about their school environment and the interactions they have there and how they impact on their mental health, and this illustration is brilliant and so on point!
Thanks for sharing @EmilyWidnall
How does the school environment impact young people's experience of anxiety? We asked secondary students to talk about the good and bad parts of school life in relation to well-being, and translated it into an illustration. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

Pleased to share our first qualitative @sw_shrn paper published in @BioMedCentral. We spoke with school staff, local authorities and key stakeholders about the barriers & facilitators to implementing a regional School Health Research Network in SW England

Our research in schools includes themes around connectedness and belonging in school. Connection is so important to #mentalhealth.
We’re proud to be supporting @Place2Be’s #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek. Find resources at: https://t.co/dk9FhemaHT
So true of my daughter's experience of school. So often cover teachers, and so often not qualified in the subject. Teachers are leaving in droves and I really feel for them and the students. The whole secondary education system needs a shake up. https://t.co/rf9Uf9pcCw
Wow. I now have 20,000 followers on Facebook.
The majority of these are families who want to connect and feel validated for the experiences when their children struggle or cannot attend school.
I am just saddened there are so many of us.x
Before work this morning, on #WorldMentalHealthDay, I tuned into a podcast while walking the dog, the episodes with author Susan Cain and Dr Michael Keane. I'd recommend it to anyone who hasn't found it yet, particularly if you have an tendency for introversion and anxiety.
On #WorldMentalHealthDay2022, we hope you were able to dedicate time to yours and your students' mental health. Our network and research empowers schools to improve wellbeing using scientifically robust pupil surveys and benchmarked reports to identify areas of focus.
