This is a moronic comparison and highlights just how low quality our current set of MPs are.

Nadhim Zahawi, the former MP, was not only part of the governing Conservative Party (thus having less reason to submit written questions) but also spent a considerable amount of his time as an MP either in Cabinet, on committees or in the Number 10 Policy Unit, again negating the ability or need to submit written questions to your own government.

But hey, cheap political point scoring to prove that you're 'doing something' is very in line with being a Liberal Democrat MP. It's not like you have anything better to do.
