The logical thing is that the BMA should vote to approve the 2 year experince and lobby for more positions of training to overcome the upcoming bottleneck.

@NeuroAlx I agree that merit-based selection is the best; however, the selection criteria need to be fixed to actually reflect excellence. Speaking from an IMG point of view, if the NHS's significant experience is defined as 2 years, this priority law would be fair in some sense.

@AngloVarangian I would actually say that Israel is a terrible state in the region, just like Turkey, UAE and Qatar.. all these countries funded terror groups and proxies and they all played a role in the bloodshed. I prefer that no war happens in any country.

Also, it is logical not to ask for external support. We are by religion required to love our neighbours, even if they hate us.
