@_travelindia Everything is relative. The median income in CA in 2017 (to match the data) was $71k, which also includes everything from homecare providers to CEOs... for the tech industry that median is much higher and $80k a year is on the lower side.

Seems USCIS has started doing its job. H1-B Denial rate for all these outsourcing firms like Cognizant and Wipro is 50% or higher while for those like Apple and Google is less than 10%....
