One of the themes for me of the IATEFL conference was staff (managers, teachers, admin) wellbeing and it was great to be a speaker at the joint PCE between IPSEN and LAM SIG on this topic. Remember, if you replace the I of Illness with the letters WE, you get Wellness.
Great time in Thai restaurant in Harrogate at IATEFL conference. If I get to 500 followers by the end of the conference I will pay for one personaโs IATEFL membership for a year. Thanks!
@melody_philip@SLBCoop Lots to be impressed about in the Elt world at the moment, Melody, including many organisations sharing their webinars and resources freely with all Elt practitioners instead of keeping them to themselves. See free two- day meet up at : https://t.co/cDbWw6hser over next two days
@BenIrvineAuthor Well what a bizarre lot of prejudices in one sentence. Evidence base? How does Ben know? Is he part of the surveillance state and has access to cctv cameras in their living rooms as they watch the BBC?
#eaquals19madrid thank you and welcome to all those who made the Eaquals conference in Madrid so memorable and potentially impactful, if we apply what we learned. Thanks everyone!
#lamsig2019 Iatefl highlights for me: dedication & friendliness of participants, Lamsig committee, IATEFL staff, volunteers, sessions by Neil Walker (learning theory), Neenaz Ichaporia (remote teams), Chris Farrell (nudging), Ross Thorburn (Racism in Elt) Gerhard Erasmus (Trust).
