Mass protests have erupted across Ukraine, including in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Sumy, Cherkasy, and Dnipro, in response to President Zelenskyy's decision to dismiss Defense Minister of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, who had become popular among Ukrainian politicians during his six months in office.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Pavel Elizarov, has resigned in connection with Fedorov's dismissal, calling it a serious blow to Ukraine's defense.
Important statements by Vance:
🚫"I know that representatives of the Israeli government are trying to manipulate public opinion in the United States and change it so that the war continues indefinitely."
🚫The U.S. Vice President stated that a well-funded campaign is trying to sabotage negotiations and destroy any possible agreement.
🚫According to him, certain individuals are receiving money from a former Trump advisor, and that person, in turn, is receiving compensation from representatives of the Israeli government.
🚫"These people are attacking me and claiming that we should not negotiate with Iran, but must continue the military campaign.
🚫You can't just say: 'We'll bomb until something good happens.' That approach never works.
🚫I'm annoyed by Americans who say that it's impossible to negotiate with Iranians. Then what's your solution?
🚫Some influencers are being paid to attack the agreement.
🚫We are not going to send 150,000 ground troops to change the regime. We will not be involved in such operations.
🚫The era of military interventions and sending thousands of soldiers to change regimes is over. Our army will not replace the people in determining their own destiny."
🇺🇦 Zelensky's former press secretary Iuliia Mendel just torched her old boss.
Mendel, who served as Zelensky's spokesperson from 2019 to 2021, argued that nothing will ever change under his rule because he doesn't want it to.
She wrote that anyone pushing for real reform either leaves or gets forced out, and said she quit once she realized she could change nothing and that Zelensky was set on chaos.
"Change is not possible under Zelenskyy. He needs war. He needs corruption. He needs autocracy."
She said people should stop kidding themselves that the problem is anyone but Zelensky, pointing out he's held power for more than 7 years.

🇪🇺🇫🇷 This is peak irony: former EU Commissioner Thierry Breton, who once bragged about how they'd managed to get Romania's election results annulled because it didn't go the way the EU wanted, is now warning Elon about "meddling" in France's elections
According to him, if the X algorithm favors one candidate (which it won't because it's balanced and open-sourced) it would be illegal
Hey Thierry, how is it legal to apply political pressure to a country to get them to annul the results of their own elections?
For context, after the results were annulled, U.S intelligence agencies proved there had been no Russian influence over Romania's elections
Clearly, there was EU influence though.

Tut nichts! https://t.co/wgULTdjLmc
🇺🇸 JD Vance went on Rogan and did something rare: admitted the administration blew it on the Epstein files.
"We absolutely screwed up the comms of the Epstein files. Like we just did"
His fix in hindsight: release everything fast, redact only victim info.
Better late than never on the honesty, I guess.

Welche Version stimmt denn nun? Konnten Sie das in der Zwischenzeit rekonstruieren?“

🚨🇺🇸 Senate Democrats just blocked the $1.15 trillion defense bill, stalling the legislative vehicle for the U.S.-Israel military integration push.
-The motion to proceed failed 50-46, well short of the 60 needed, with votes on strict party lines, and Thune flipping to "no" procedurally to preserve a revote
-The NDAA process is where the integration fight lives: Massie is fighting the House version's Section 219, which he says would begin "co-mingling our military supply chains and technology with Israel's"
-The broader push tracks the $38 billion aid agreement's wind-down toward 2028, replacing grants with deep defense-industrial fusion, which both governments have endorsed
-Democrats framed the block around the war: Schumer said Republicans want the NDAA passed "as though none of this is happening," and Murphy called it flatly "an authorization for the Iran war, a war that nobody in this country wants"
-The $1.1 trillion package includes a 3.6% troop pay raise and military family investments, now hostage to the deadlock

Bulgaria Withdraws from "Coalition of the Willing" Supporting Ukraine
Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev stated that his country will no longer be part of the so-called "coalition of the willing," which advocates for the continuation of military and financial aid to Ukraine. According to him, the solution to the conflict lies not in the military sphere, but in diplomacy.
The new Bulgarian government is pursuing a policy of reducing involvement in military conflicts and shifting towards diplomatic methods. Previously, Hungary and Slovakia had also announced their withdrawal from the coalition.
