So many comments assuming Renee Good's motive at the moment she hit the accelerator. But we don't know her motive and she can't tell us. So we look at what she did:
1) She spoke in a somewhat friendly way to an ICE agent.
2) She refused multiple law enforcement orders to get out of her car.
3) She put the car in reverse and then in drive.
4) She accelerated a split-second after her wife urged her to "Drive, baby, drive!"
Was this done with the intention of hitting the ICE agent? Or to get away from the ICE agent who ordered her to get out of the car? For some other reason? Maybe there will be more evidence about her intent. But we do know what she did.

I just want to make a quick point. Prior to last year there had never been a shooting at a high school graduation in Minnesota. Last year there were 3 and all the shooters were Somali males.
