Check out this first-ever, ground-up 3-D data set of wind and thermodynamics captured inside of the Blue Rapids, Kansas #tornado.
We also found our sensor launched into the violent St Libory, Nebraska tornado and the parachute was ripped off!

@WhitakerTA_ It's interesting I just recently wrote about, and joined a podcast on how lawsuits will serve as shadow regulation in the AI space (completely unrelated). But there is a history of lawsuits driving [pun intended] change, regulators and lawmakers did not.
@JoshMoulton From grad school to midlife…credit to Tom Piazza for creating a place where people off all backgrounds and ages just enjoyed a place to hang out.
@dailydirtnap He could f this were an attempt at a federal wealth tax. Would be considered a direct tax, subject to apportionment by state. But as a California state tax, it may survive.
@paschutz I believe so. Not my area of expertise so curious to hear otherwise, but valuing mega projects based on the value of land, and everybody else on value of developed property, you’ll get other businesses/homeowners raising legal challenges. More uncertainty for Bears, not less.
@thescorechicago@paschutz This proposal establishes 2 methods to value property for purposes of taxation, one for everybody, and one for mega projects. That will be tied up in courts for years, creating tremendous uncertainty. That alone could kill this deal.
@MaryAnnAhernNBC@CHGO_Bears Not in this case. If I read this right (prepared to be proven wrong) The fair value is tied only to the land for mega projects, and not the developed property. No other property taxes are calculated this way. You’ll have facial challenges by other property owners.

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew's Patriarchal Encyclical on the Occasion of Holy Pascha 2026: "Having arrived, through fasting, prayer, and solemnity, at the radiant and all-festal day of Holy Pascha, we glorify the world-saving Resurrection of our Lord." https://t.co/DRZZ7m9hdA
@SMB_Attorney When the Bar gets to determine who can provide legal advice, and you have to be a lawyer to be a member of the Bar...But I'd take the other side here. This is basically saying you can't provide books or information to the public to read based on content.
@Geiger_Capital This would be considered a Direct Tax under the US Constitution, and must be apportioned by State. Hypothetically the taxpayers of a state with no Billionaires would still get stuck with a pro rata bill.
Indiana Gov. Mike Braun has signed a bill supporting a potential stadium in northwest Indiana, while Illinois lawmakers advanced legislation tied to the Bears’ proposed new stadium project. @paschutz reports.
