We're looking for a videographer for the adventure of a lifetime! 🌍
After almost three years building @13amStudio Project 195, the first creative platform in history to have representation from every single country on earth, we'll soon be taking the search from online into the real world.
When just 13 countries remain, we'll be travelling to them in person, to not only create an epic journey and content series but to complete a genuine world-first achievement, heading to some of the most remote, rarely-filmed and visually striking places on the planet.
Each leg of the journey will be fronted by a leading travel content creator / YouTuber, joining us country by country to co-create the series, so you won't just be travelling with me, you'll be working alongside some of the best creators in the game as they come and go throughout the four months. Whilst they'll be creating the main episodes in each country, your focus stays on capturing our journey and the behind-the-scenes story, but you'll be right in the mix with a rotating cast of brilliant people along the way.
We're looking for a videographer to travel the entire journey, roughly early February to late May 2027, around four months on the road, capturing everything behind the scenes, the travel, the people, the countries, and the story as it unfolds, for 13AM's own channels alongside the main series.
This is for you if you:
Have a brilliant portfolio of video content (ideally travel content)
Have a storyteller's eye, not just technical skill
Are genuinely up for four months of real, unpredictable, sometimes tough travel
Are adaptable, easy-going and great to be around, we'll be side by side for months, so the right personality matters as much as the technical side
The details:
Paid role, all flights, accommodation, food and visas covered, plus a fee (amount discussed on application)
Editing likely to sit with a separate editor, so your focus is purely on capturing the journey
Full notice given, planning starts now for a targeted February departure
If this sounds like your kind of thing, I'd love to hear from you. Send a short note on why it's you, along with your showreel, to [email protected]
Please share with anyone brilliant. This is going to be special ✈️

Some of the best travel creators on YouTube are coming on board for the adventure of a lifetime 👇
It’s been a quiet few months publicly, but there’s been loads going on behind the scenes, and one exciting development is that I’ve been speaking with several of YouTube’s leading travel content creators about fronting The Final 13 with me. Not just one but potentially seven or eight across the series, each taking on a different leg of the journey. I can’t say who yet. But the line-up will speak for itself.
Here’s what they’re joining: three years into Project 195, a creative voice from every single country on Earth, today we’re at 163 and closing in on the final stretch. Soon I’ll know the final 13 countries, the most remote places left, and we’re travelling to every one, in person.
Several of the biggest names in travel content. One historic journey. A four-month series like no other. All leading to a genuine world first achievement.
Make sure you’re following along as we get ever closer 🌍

Just 33 countries left. But more excitingly, only 20 more to discover until we know who the final 13 will be.
It's a milestone that has felt impossible at times, and one we're now just twenty away from reaching.
This takes us into the most exciting part of the whole journey: the point where we stop searching online and start travelling in person. Going country to country to find the final 13 artists on the ground, in an adventure we anticipate lasting around four continuous months. A journey to some of the most remote, visually extraordinary and rarely visited places on Earth, all to complete a genuine world first, bringing the entire planet together into one shared collection, community, and story.
And there's more. Behind the scenes we're working hard to bring some of the world's leading travel content creators on board to front the journey. Not just one, but several across the series, each taking on a different leg and each bringing their own audience of millions, building an epic series that drives the attention our community and our project deserve. Make sure you're following as the planning continues.
We'll be visiting 13 of these countries pictured. Only time will tell which ones.
162 found. 33 to go. 20 until we find out which we'll be travelling to! ✈️🌍

One hundred and sixty countries. One hundred and sixty stories. One hundred and sixty corners of the world now part of the 13AM community.
When Project 195 began, nobody knew if this was truly possible. Connecting with artists in countries with little creative infrastructure, limited digital presence, sometimes barely any internet or access to the outside world, it required patience, persistence and an unshakeable belief that this was worth doing.
But here we are.
160 countries represented. Built from scratch, independently, with nothing but a mission and the conviction that creativity exists everywhere, even where opportunity hasn't. Until now.
In an ever more divided world, this proves that global collaboration is still possible. That creativity is bigger than borders. That community is bigger than conflict.
35 countries remain. Just 22 until the Final 13.
Project 195, the first creative brand in history to represent every country on Earth.
We're not there yet. But we will be.

Building @13amStudio | Week 13
My first update in five weeks. Consistency is always the plan but sometimes life has other ideas. There were opportunities outside of 13AM pulling at my attention. Nothing I'll go into detail on, but some with real temptation. Yet I'm still here, as determined as ever.
While I went quiet on socials, a lot has happened behind the scenes.
This week we’ll surpass 160 countries represented. Laos, Maldives, Eritrea, all added over the past few days. And we already have a further two scheduled. Another huge milestone and one that means we’re now just 22 away from 182. The point at which the online discovery phase ends and the physical journey begins.
I’ve made the decision now to change how we approach the Final 13. Rather than leading that journey myself or alone, I'm in conversations with established travel content creators to front the Final 13 as a documentary series. The kind of names with serious audiences, real production experience, and the reach to turn this into something much larger than I could build alone.
The project deserves maximum attention, someone whose entire platform is built around exactly this kind of adventure and I’m super excited at some of the potential people that have already shown real interest in the project.
For brand partners, this also changes everything. The proposition goes from pure vision and potential to being able to attach your brand to an established creator with a proven audience, on a world-first achievement. Very different conversation and it becomes one of the most exciting propositions available.
Exciting times ahead.

Something big is coming.
For the past two years, we’ve quietly been building one of the most ambitious creative projects on the internet.
Now it’s time to see what happens when we stop building quietly.
Starting next week, we’re going all in on one mission:
Making the world notice @13amStudio Project 195.
30 consectutive days.
Big ideas.
Big risks.
Hopefully big rewards.
We’re about to try something nobody does, for a reason unlike any other.
Full reveal this Sunday.

Building @13amStudio | Week 8
A week to stop, reassess and rethink our strategy moving forward as we began the search for brand partners ahead of The Final 13.
Utilising our network and starting outreach to potential partners has been both exciting and challenging, but also incredibly valuable. One thing continues to become very clear. Every time people truly understand the concept behind 13AM and Project 195, whether that’s through artists, embassies, meetings or content online, the reaction is overwhelmingly positive. People genuinely connect with the idea.
The challenge right now is reach.
We need more people to see what we’re building. More awareness. More followers. More subscribers. More media attention. More discovery from sponsors, partners and brands.
So with that in mind, we’re about to launch our first major attention campaign.
Revealed this coming Sunday and starting a week today, we’re about to try something nobody really does, for a reason unlike anything else on the internet. We’re going all in to make people notice Project 195 and the wider vision behind 13AM.
No risk, no reward.
Outside of content, it’s been another steady week progressing the project across all areas. We welcomed The Gambia to Project 195, taking us to 155 countries represented, with just 27 remaining until we know The Final 13.
Our embassy outreach clip has had another surge on Instagram and has now passed 400,000 views, while one artwork post from last week is approaching 3,000 likes, further proof that people are starting to engage with the wider story and mission behind the platform.
I’ve also had a number of really encouraging meetings this week with influential figures who have offered valuable advice, support and potential opportunities moving forward, again showing the power of network and conversation when the vision resonates.
This next week will largely be spent behind the scenes refining strategy, building momentum and preparing for the launch of what could become a major turning point for 13AM and Project 195 moving forward.

24 hours. One country. No contacts.
As part of Project 195, I flew to Cyprus with one goal, find an artist and take another step towards completing a world-first global project.
We walked into studios unannounced. Got rejected. Had conversations that went nowhere… and others that opened everything up, selling the vision one encounter at a time.
Moments of doubt. Moments of belief. A country full of character, culture and incredible creatives and a reminder that this is what building something real actually looks like.

One of the best feelings during Project 195 is seeing people genuinely connect with the vision.
Out speaking to artists in Cyprus and sharing the bigger idea behind what we’re building, moments like this feel like another small step towards completing a unique world first.

One of the best parts of Project 195 is the people you meet along the way.
Whilst out in Cyprus, street artist Paparazzi welcomed us into his world, not only spending time with us, showing us around his studio and talking through his work, but insisting on giving us not one but two gifts as we left.
An amazing gesture that perfectly sums up what this project is really about. Creativity connecting people across borders, cultures and backgrounds.

24 hours In Cyprus 🇨🇾🍿
As part of Project 195, I flew to Cyprus with one goal, find an artist and take another step towards completing a world-first global mission.
No contacts. No planning. Just walking into studios, starting conversations and trying to make people believe in what we’re building.
Some doors stayed closed. Others opened everything up.
This is the reality of trying to build something global from the ground up. The setbacks, the uncertainty, the moments of doubt, but also the people, culture and unexpected moments that make it all worth it.

Touch down in Cyprus, wake up with no contacts, no plan… and everything to figure out.
Somewhere on this island is the next artist.
Time to go find them.

Building @13amStudio | Week 7
Last week marked our first venture overseas for Project 195.
The idea was simple, could we land in one of the remaining countries and find an artist within 24 hours? That destination turned out to be Cyprus.
The goal, of course, was to discover a Cypriot artist, but just as important was creating the next YouTube episode following the success of our embassy day, while also testing what the Final 13 might actually look like. How long do we need in each country? How do we approach artists? What does the reality of filming, logistics and outreach actually feel like?
The day itself was mixed. Some amazing conversations, brilliant artists and real characters, alongside rejections, mistakes and plenty of learnings.
I won’t give too much away as the full video drops tonight on YouTube, but one key takeaway is clear, 24 hours isn’t really enough. When we come to the Final 13, we’ll need more time, more preparation, and a deeper level of immersion in each country and its culture.
That said, this trip proved something important, it is possible to turn up, start conversations, share the vision and begin building something real from nothing.
Keep an eye out for the full video dropping this evening.
I’ve also spent the weekend pushing forward on the website, which is now close to completion, along with the sponsorship deck. This means the next phase begins, reaching out to brand partners.
This is a key moment in the journey. The opportunity to partner with Project 195 is genuinely unique, to be part of a positive, global movement and a world-first achievement, while also aligning with what I believe can become a highly engaging, potentially viral YouTube series and a lasting cultural moment.
In terms of progress, we added another country last week, Bangladesh, taking us to 154. That leaves just 28 more before we know our Final 13. Outreach now needs to ramp up, and I’ve spent a lot of the weekend doing exactly that. We’ve also started to see strong responses from embassies, with countries like Seychelles and The Gambia actively looking to connect us with artists. Next step here is to shift approach slightly, spending time calling cultural departments directly and pitching over the phone to see if that unlocks more opportunities.
A big week ahead with sponsorship outreach and the Cyprus episode going live.
Onwards and upwards.

Building @13amStudio | Week 6
What a week!
Two of our short-form videos went viral across TikTok and Instagram, both taken from our conversations at the North Korean embassy. In all honesty, I never expected we’d even get the chance to speak to anyone there, so the fact we were welcomed inside the gates, able to have a conversation, and hand over our invitation was a huge moment.
These are exactly the kinds of moments that capture what 13AM is all about, bringing people together and breaking down borders.
Across TikTok, the two clips have reached just under half a million views, with around 20,000 likes, and our following has grown 8x. On Instagram, the same clips are approaching 300,000 views, again with strong engagement and a wave of new followers.
That momentum has also carried over to YouTube. Our embassy special, just our second long form upload, has already passed 2,100 views, almost 10x our first video and our subscriber count has nearly doubled in the past week. Overall, a really strong week on the content front.
As you may have seen yesterday, I’ve just landed in Cyprus for our next feature episode. This is our first time taking the project overseas, with a simple challenge, can we find an artist here in 24 hours?
While this is a standalone piece of content, separate from the Final 13 in both format and journey, it will give us valuable insight as we build towards that phase. If successful, we’ll also be down to just three European countries remaining.
This will be filmed early this week and released next Monday.
Elsewhere, we added another country last week, San Marino, taking us to 153. Our sponsorship deck is now complete and ready as we begin reaching out to potential partners.
We’ve also had some great updates from within the community, with a number of artists landing dream opportunities off the back of being featured on 13AM. That’s exactly what this is all about, creating opportunities for creatives around the world, whether directly or indirectly.
Here’s to another big week ahead.
