Week 21: the final week of this module. Enjoyed revisiting module concepts to write my EMA and have almost finished... spent this evening planning my answer to Part C and writing this is the final task for tomorrow before submission #OUB329#nearlythere
Week 17: Jose's story was fascinating and indicated the importance of leadership and storytelling, as well as reframing the discourse about migrants. His passion and experience made him a clear leader, pushing for social change. #OUB329#helpingothers#leadingsocialchange
Week 16 highlighted how differences aren't always a negative: activist leadership is more diverse and successful when dealing with clashes and disagreements in a democratic matter. #OUB329#activist
Week 15 concept of dualism shows one can be both a leader and follower simultaneously. When resisting the leader, a follower can essentially become a leader themselves voicing their views. Once this issue is resolved they then return to being a follower. #OUB329
Week 15 #OUB329 proved resistance doesnt only occur in the extreme cases such as Nazism or in reaction to political regimes, but in fact is part of everyday organisational life. #resistanceleadership
Week 14 #OUB329 starting to think about the #B329leadershipchallenge and what i could encounter during groupwork. Tame "been there, solved before" problems, Wild "complex and never conquered" problems or Critical "needing urgent attention" problems #hopefortame#problemsolving
Some aspects of Week 12 I found challenging to grasp, namely differentiating between negative and zero sum games. After research, I figure that zero-sum has no winner, where negative-sum has a winner who only gains advantage by a slight fraction. #leadership#outcomes#OUB329
Week 11 #OUB329: Constructive Dissent is a non-traditional style of leadership practice as it encourages people to not follow given leaders, if they have differing views. This mindset encourages innovation and stops bad practise. #movingforward
Week 11 #OUB329: sometimes it is necessary to tackle conflict/differing opinions at the forefront of the business' activities in order to drive the business forward. #copingwithconflict
Week 10 #OUB329: allowing followers to influence leaders can be beneficial as they are capable of giving first-hand insight to major problems. Both formal and non-formal relationships are at the forefront of leaderships. #mobilisingfollowers
Week 8 #OUB329: this week highlighted my #situationalleadership style and the important of being able to adapt to different circumstances. I also didcovered the importance of inclusion and diversity when it comes to managing staff & driving business activities forward.

What can you do to reduce animal homelessness?
1. Think before getting a pet - can you look after them?
2. Adopt, don't shop!
3. Support animal charities π

Personally week 7 has helped me realise I have good communication skills and a positive attitude which are good skills of a leader, however would need to work on taking a clear stand and portraying my ideas without #steamrolling@B329Leadership#othersperceptions
Week 7: discovering creating a leadership identity and what makes a good leader or not so much has been very interesting @B329Leadership. More so surprised by various aspects which can be controlled and changed when needed, compared to those which can't. #inspired
Caught up on posting reflections for #OUB329... now to wait on 11am when I have my scheduled interview with a leader in the Transport Industry. Thankful for a day off to complete my #TMA01, plenty of people in situations of #precarity who wont get this luxury #timetoblog
Blog posts are relevant to leadership as leadership is nowadays often enacted in the public sphere i.e. on social media platforms. Talking to people or reading online blog posts provides different perspectives on leadership #newleadershipdynamics#week5#OUB329
Leaders are influenced by culture in how they are expected to think; yet their thoughts and behaviours are what forms the culture. A multi-cultural approach can be taken to help different cultures thrive, rather than one dominant culture #week4#OUB329
