❤️ Oh my gosh. This review has made me so, so happy today.
Just what I needed.🎄😌
Thank you so much. Words like this really keep me going …especially when it comes to this second novel, which is in the making… 🥰

🎄Looking for a Christmas gift for the readers in your life?
🩰My novel has a soft spot for this magical time of year because it's Nutcracker ballet season, where dreams so colourfully come to life...
...and UB is about a ballerina!

⚠️ Storyville Books in Pontypridd has been completely flooded, and half their stock has been destroyed at a critical time of year. You can help get their doors back open by buying a book (or 3!) Check out their Christmas recommendations on our homepage at https://t.co/BWc7z1mlYb
🥲Looking for a novel that will make you cry?
I’ve been told Unspeakable Beauty upsets people... 🤣
All for good reason, I promise!
I cried a lot whilst writing it over the years, so my tears were probably a key ingredient. 💜

👣 While writing Unspeakable Beauty, and thinking about the landscape, all the geographical A to Bs of the protagonist - Violet - it’s funny that even (or especially) in writing, you have to consider what’s realistic for a girl to do.
So, inevitably, like a lot of girls, Violet finds herself looking over her shoulder more and more as she grows up, and writing about this reminded me that this is something women do so automatically in our daily lives, that we sometimes forget to register how bizarre it all is.
