Today was my first day as the Philanthropy Executive @ltmuseum! I started at LTM 2 years ago as an apprentice, after 18 months in an apprenticeship @britishlibrary. This eve I’ve been reflecting on my journey so far & feeling very grateful for the people I’ve met along the way💙
I’m very excited to announce that i’ll be a panellist for @kidsinmuseums The Future is Now: #MuseumYouth Summit!🙌
With the other brilliant panellists i’ll be discussing topics around what the future could look like for how museums work with young people. Check it out!⬇️
❕ Schedule & speakers now live ❕
We're thrilled to reveal the full schedule, speakers & panellists for The Future is Now: #MuseumYouth Summit. The event is being planned & delivered by our Kids in Museums Youth Panel thanks to @benefactgroup funding.

Happy #NAW2023 to all trailblazing apprentices and supportive employers celebrating🎉
The theme this year is skills for life🙌
In response, each day of NAW I’m going to add one skill/attribute under this thread that i’ve developed in my 3 years as a museum learning apprentice⬇️
Happy #NationalApprenticeshipWeek2022! I have written a blog post for London Transport Museum on my experiences as an apprentice, I hope you can spare a moment to give it a read! https://t.co/ix4MWd59mK
If you have ever travelled on London’s Tubes, trains or buses, you have sat on something created by designer Emma Sewell.
Her unique, rich colour palettes and eye for geometry and pattern have brought global recognition.

@EnglishSarahH Thank you! I’ve learnt from my apprenticeships that people support one another so much in this sector which is one of the reasons I love it so much . The love under this tweet is such a testament to that 🥰
After over three years of being an apprentice in the Heritage Sector, today is my first day as a full time Learning Assistant!
I’m incredibly grateful for the people who have supported me in developing my career so far and I’m so excited for what’s to come✨
@TamsinRussell Thank you so much! I’ll absolutely be in touch - I also have something in the works for national apprenticeship week so I look forward to hearing more about what you’re up to at the MA 😊
A short review I have written on The Horror Show! A new exhibition taking a look at Britain's strange and somewhat twisted past
