First ever in-person poster presentation done ✔️I recently had the pleasure of presenting my most recent paper at the 2023 UQ Medical Student Research Conference. A great opportunity to understand what in-person poster presentations are all about!
I'm excited to share that my first, first-author paper has been published in @EurJPediatrics. We identified risk factors for infant delivery room clinical instability that may alert less experienced clinicians to call for senior assistance early. (1/8)

Prospective validation of our findings is warranted prior to clinical application. These findings may help to ensure appropriately skilled staff are present for infants at increased risk of clinical instability and to provide better support to less experienced clinicians. (7/8)
It was wonderful to catch up with colleagues and mentors from @thewomens, and learn about important, fascinating neonatal research at #CoolTopics2022 over the past 2 days! This research couldn’t happen without scientists, nurses, clinicians, and of course very generous families.
Attended @changexunzipped’s 2022 conference this weekend which centred around the theme of Poverty & Health. Despite the widespread poverty overseas and in our own backyard, we can all be advocates for change (and compassion connects us all and costs nothing!)
